Nice little deli, after finising the 17 mile drive. Went inside got the Little Italy, had layers of salami, capitol, cheese, and some banana peppers. Enjoyed the view of the water from the patio outside the visitors center. Great spot to stop at the end of 17 mile drive. the deli is fine in a pinch, you never really know how long the food has been sitting there and the bread is always a bit stale. today i was waiting in line to order when a group of group of centenarians walked up to the counter and started to order, the cashier gave me a shrug with a frown. it’s common that the people who work there aren’t too happy to see you but this put me off so much i just decided to wait until dinner to eat. Zero stars for the cashier’s rudeness, 1-star for a reasonable gelato on a hot day. What’s it with the establishments at Pebble Beach, people. It is almost like they don’t like visitors. A hello or a smile will go a long way in making the world a better place. Drop the entitlement. You ain’t worth that much, honestly. Live on.
