One of the best meat markets in the southern Twin Cities area. Great history and traditions! I use their pork shoulder for smoked pulled pork and love their jerky!

A gift card brought us in the door, and I'm glad it did. Friendly employees, they even gave my children a sample of baloney, which they liked. They had a nice selection, and it appeared fresh. Smelled great. There is plenty of street parking available.

The smoked ribs are awesome and the staff are a delight. They have had four generations to get it all perfect and have succeeded. A great small town butcher shop.

Best beef jerky on the planet. Got hooked when Sherry Pekarna brought it to the horse girls for 4-H!! 1996!! Forever Pekarna

What a great store, with very helpful and knowledgeable employees. We walked in and asked what they were known for, and without missing a beat they told us about the history of the store and the 100 year old ring bologna recipe brought over from the old world. It was excellent! Also great finds were their Northwoods Brat and their Smoked Brat. We tried a few other things that were good as well, but those were the big standouts for us!

When you walk in you get a waft of smells that make your tummy growl. My Wife and her parents stop in once in a while for some tastey Bushti ( Their Czech word for bologna). If you haven’t stopped in you are missing out.

Well over 100 years old with the same family, Perkana is a wonderful local treasure. For the best cuts of every kind of meat plus some unusual additions Perkana is your butcher. Great service and excellent prices but it's the quality of the meat which brings us back again and again.

I love this place…. I have been coming here ever since I was a little kid. I remember them handing me a piece of bologna and just enjoying the smells.
Now that I’m older there is no more free Piece of bologna when I walk in the door but I still get the same great smells I remember.
They are you one stop shop for a great weekend of grilling. You can get your burgers, brats, chicken and hot dogs. They also stock the buns you’ll need and some specialty sodas to enjoy.
Their freezers are full of brats and appetizers ready to be grilled up and enjoy. The display case has different kinds of beef, chicken and pork. If your looking for it I bet they will have it.
Pricing is going to be a little higher on some things then your local supermarket. But it’s worth it. I have never had a bad piece of meat from here or a bad experience. I hope to see them for years to come.
