Both Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania and Penn Pide are recommended for visiting. At this restaurant, you will be offered Mediterranean and Turkish cuisines. You can try nicely cooked beef, lahmacun and penne pasta. If hungry, come here for good baklava. Delicious tea is a decent choice. At Penn Pide, you can order a takeout. The professional staff welcomes guests all year round. The prompt service is a big plus of this place. A number of people note that prices are fair for what you get. Most of the time, the pleasant atmosphere is to be found here. Based on the guests' feedback on Google, this spot deserved 4.4.

Discovering this place was like finding out that you had a gold mine in your backyard. The food at Penn Pide is absolutely delicious! There are 4 different dishes in these photos: Lamb Special, Lamb Biryani, Cheese & Beef Pide, and the Labneh with Honey Pide. Our favorite ones were the Lamb Special as well as the Cheese & Beef Pide. You can’t go wrong with those two! The owner of this place, Abu Yousef, is a very well mannered and respectful gentleman who welcomes everyone to his restaurant. Since it was our first time at his place, he cooked everything with great care and effort. Definitely check out this place, and try out some of the dishes in these photos! Great mom and pop shop serving authentic Mediterranean food. The The baklava was so delicious and warm. The “pizza” is light and tasty as well, it won’t weight you down because there’s no cheese. It looks wide but you can finish it no problem I bet. I want to get their grape leaves next. But yeah come on over to get your Fill of culture
Good halal option at Campus. Need to improve with customer friendliness. Seating is uncomfortable in summer without AC and kitchen heat. The food tastes very nice. Worth the trip!
Ate here with a co-worker who also got a pied. We were both disappointed in the lack of meat in the dish. The crust/bread was cooked quite nicely. I was really hoping for a 4+ star experience based off other reviews, but it just wasn't on that level. I will be back to sample again, as everyone deserves a second chance. So i stopped here after i left the gyro place, just to see what they were offering... this place is a Turkish Mom and Pop joint, incredible to say the least! I wish I could give at least 8 stars.. the Pide was much bigger than i expected and it was packed with goodness- lamb, spices, red sauce and topped with cheese. the dough was soft and gooey. It came with green " mayo" which added a whole other flavor profile.... now I'm hungry, I might hit it up again tonight !!
I really liked these dishes. They are #14 from the wall (beef on the rice), Spinach Borek (taste like spinach spring roll), and Baklava (pistachio & honey taste condensed croissant). It was good experience to try Turkish, but #14 could be better with less salt or sauce. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30
The process was a little long so I had to change my order to take-out, but oh my god was it delicious. The lamb slid right off the bone and the rice was evenly cooked, wasn’t latched to itself, well seasoned. The food wasn’t oily like most restaurants. Honestly, some of the best lamb I’ve ever had! It was so tender and juicy and tasty. It is a bit on the expensive side, but that’s quality lamb tbh. I came in with an arsenal jersey and I don’t think the owner liked them, but I’m all for it😂 they were both very kind and nice overall. If you haven’t tried them even once, I suggest you do :) Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Undoubtedly State College’s best, most affordable restaurant. The food is, relative to other nearby establishments, exceptionally cheap, and delicious. A must visit if you’re in the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the gyro thinking I was going to get the pita wrap sandwich that you normally get at a Greek restaurant. That's not what came out. It was this pizza like thing, like an open face calzone that's pinched on the sides. It's just cheese and meat. It had this amazing like cucumber aioli sauce on the side o dip into. you would think mayonnaise would make this taste heavier but the cucumber gives it a lightness and cuts through. My boyfriend wasn't even hungry and he absolutely devoured his beef kabob dish. My only complaint would be that the bathroom needs a deep clean. I'm not saying that I wasn't comfortable using it or something. you can just tell they've only been doing the bare minimum of cleaning the toilet, sink, and mopping the floor for a while now. the walls are grimy and definitely need to be wiped down, along with the baseboards which were quite dusty. This is probably just a me thing, I used to clean for a living so it's something I noticed. My boyfriend didn't notice at all. We will definitely be going back to try more of the menu. Wanted something different, yet familiar so I tried the Pide (essentially a Turkish pizza) and was not disappointed. Had the Sujuk (Turkish sausage) and a Spinach pide. Pricies were around $9-$10 and it was bigger than expected. It the Sujuk meat had a spice kick to it which was unexpectedly nice! The spinach was good as well. Trying both, I'd likely go for the Sujuk again (simply because it's meat), but I'd also like to try other things on the menu as well on a future visit
