First time here and sure will come back. Server was very polite , helped me with the menu recommending me the Tuesdays specials. I decided to try it 3 tacos plate. They also gave me to try a fish soup they make that was incredibly good. Oh man, it was so good. I had for the tacos fish, chicken and pastor. All of them great but the pastor was above awesome. I went looking for a new place to eat. This place had great reviews. I walked in on Taco Tuesday and the place was empty! The food is horrible. The fish and shrimp in the tacos were like little hard rocks with no taste at all. They are way over battered & way over fried. They don't taste like fish, shrimp or even batter. They load the taco up with cabbage and sauce and that's all you taste. The soup went straight in the trash. It was way too salty. The beans taste somewhat authentic but have a odd taste to them. The rice was fantastic. The owner is very proud of his son having graduated from chef school but he should go get his money back. I can't imagine who taught him to cook like that. I don't see how this place has survived 24 years in business. And the tacos were way over priced at $4.50 each! I was told they're big tacos. Yes, they use the regular size corn tortillas that were falling apart stuffed with cabbage & sauce. I can't recommend this place to anyone. Please don't waste your money like I did. They have the best michelada in town, and it is their own recipe.👌 The owners are so nice and friendly, and they always welcome you with a smile. I've been here so many times and I have tried almost everything from the menu. Food is delicious, great sevice and the place is clean.
