We tried this place this evening. As a resident of Bellingham for 15 years Pho99 has been our go-to, so we wanted to check this place out. Well to start off their customer service is something to be desired. The first booth we sat at had a strong SOUR smell. Even my teen who smells nothing noticed it, so we moved tables. Our server noticed and was smiling and chatting with the other employees. I let our server know that it smelled bad and maybe it was their wet towel they use for cleaning. She came to our table with the same towel and WOW did it stink after she wiped it down. It smelled so sour. Thanks. Our meal was minimal and didn't have much flavor. I tried to believe that they cared about the important stuff, but if they can't change out a rotten towel they've used over and over all day. Hmmm. We won't be going back. Decided around 7 that I was going to grab some pho, thought I’d give this place a try. My cousin always stops by here when he can to order crab rangoons and he loves theirs. They said my order was going to be ready for pickup in about 5-10 minutes and it was. Pretty good pho! I bought the regular size bowl of steak pho, an order of egg rolls and a taro bubble tea. All tasted good. Spring rolls were a little over fried but didn’t affect the taste. Last minute ordered the taro bubble tea with ease. They made sure I was all good to go before I left the counter. I tipped for the cleanliness of the restaurant and great customer service. Really nice people. Side note: I never had pho to go and googled if the steak would come raw and it tends to unless you ask for it to be cooked. No problem, the pho broth is hot enough to cook the thin slices of steak. This was new to me since I’ve never had pho as take out. You can always ask for extra of the choice of meat you choose. In my past experiences, I’ve never had a ton of meat in my pho and it seems to always be that way no matter if I was in the Midwest, down south of WA or here in Bellingham. A decent pho place. I ordered medium Bun Bo Hue. It's not authentic Hue style, but I knew it before I ordered it from the menu and I still ordered it because I craved spicy food. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

Really good food especially when you consider the price. I had the banh mi for like 6 bucks which was on fresh bread and slow cooked pork. GF had the pho and again it was pretty good for the price, broth was amazing and all the veggies were fresh. Staff was helpful and also looked like they had some cool bubble tea. I ordered hot spicy beef soup extra hot. My sister got regular and we couldn’t tell the difference. Hardly any beef and absolutely no bean sprouts or basil. I had asked for extra lime thank goodness or might not have gotten that either. Very dissatisfied and won’t order again. I ordered pho for delivery and the food was alright. Bit too acidic for me, especially with raw onion given for the soup. The broth container leaked a bit into the bag. Overall, it was okay.
