I saw the review for this place in Google Maps. As it is only four km from my house, and had never even seen it in the almost eight years I've been here, I thought I'd try it out.
*The Google Maps pin is accurate*
As I pulled into the large carpark off the highway (21) that joins Saraburi to Lomsak, a waitress came out and met us with a wai at the car as we got out. She showed us to a table - we chose to sit in the main area rather than one of the salas - and gave us menus. For those that made it this far into the review, I'm obviously not Thai: I can speak it but can't read it. I ordered fried basil with crunchy pork belly; Rung ordered some fried pork with two side sauces as a share plate, and "yum wunsen moo sup" which is a noodle dish with minced pork, sliced tomatoes, peanuts, other light vegetables, and a light dressing similar to a somtam.
The yum was very good, the pork knuckles(?) were fine as was one of the accompanying sauces - the standard fresh namjim of sliced chillies and garlic, fish sauce, and lime juice; the other was almost commercial in flavour like a Roma Chilli Sauce you get from a 7/11 - but my phad gaprow moo grop was a bit average; it wasn't crunchy and was very fatty but the gaprow, chillies, and sauce were fine.
Both mains were served with a decent portion of Khao Hom Mali - fragrent rice.
The waitress and staff were lovely but the order to serving was very, very slow. It was just after midday on a Monday and we were the only customers. Which is a shame. The restaurant is presented well, is fastidiously clean, and the staff that served us were extremely pleasant.
The three dishes, a bottled water, and a coke zero, came to 355 baht.
Apparently, it's relatively new and opened with little fanfare about a year ago.
Will go again upon my return in two months.
If you're travelling south down toward Krung Thep, it's worth stopping at the U-turn near the turnoff to Wag Pho Chedi Loi, turning right into the northern of the two driveways, while those travelling north can turn left into southern entrance easily, about a kilometre north of Ban Phot.

Found this place as the pitstop from Khao Yai to Khao Kho. They don't have English menu so we ordered our dishes using Google review photos! 10/10 for the great food, great service and affordable price!
