We ordered one breakfast each and they arrived at 11:45am We finished it like after 30mins at 12:15pm and we sat and used our phone and notebook. From that time till 1:30pm, two different waiters came and asked us if we want to order more. Guys I have just finished a full breakfast and you expected us to keep ordering? And most importantly their cafe is mostly empty at that time (at shown in the photo) so we are not occupying their tables. Great place for healthy breakfast and lunch! We tried several places in Bacalar and this one was the best one. Service was friendly, nice scenery and fair prices. Still some improvements areas as the toasts and bacon were not warm once served out. Still the best place around in Bacalar. Very cute place! A lot bigger once you go in, since they have a big back area (as you can see in one of my photos). The service was really good too! Very nice people. We got the Croque matin, which was basically like an avocado toast, a scrambled eggs dish with a lot of meat (carnivore eggs), and a French toast. We also got a mango water and the mango-orange juice. They also gave each table this little jar of chili oil that was super good! Overall, great experience - would go again! A great restaurant for a bunker lunch at a good price. At a cost of $130 you get an omelette of your personal choice, 2 large slices of bread and a small bowl of fruit. For dessert we took a warm brownie cookie it was very tasty. The place is very clean and has a covered seating area and a seating area among plants in a very comfortable atmosphere. We didn’t visit many places for breakfast but we really loved this place. The host was so nice, the coffee was great and had alternative dairy free options. Great choice of juices, our favorite was the strawberry kombucha. And the food was perfectly cooked. We definitely will head back when in Bacalar! 11 out of 10 in all aspects ☺️

Beautiful outdoor setting. Great coffee and juice. My chicken sandwich was a great serving and delicious. My partner's chilaquiles were ok, the sauce was more like a tomato soup. Worth a try! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $100–200

They have a beautiful garden patio with an extensive coffee & smoothie selection. The chilaquiles were among the best in the city and the chai was wonderful. We would definitely come back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I love Picaflor!! This place is really wonderful. I am going to miss working in the lovely open air foyer!! I really enjoy the ambience, the decor, the view of the lagoon. If you’re visiting Bacalar you must try this place for beautiful surroundings and great food and COFFEE!! And the garden/courtyard in back is truly magical, spacious and full of lovely plants and coconut trees (with plenty of socially distanced seating options).
