If I had to pick a few favorite restaurants on the east side of Providence, I’d say Pizzico would be one of my top 3. I’ve been coming here for almost 15 years and it’s always a superb experience. The staff is always top notch which is the building block of a great restaurant. Crystal was excellent. Tonight was one of their best dishes- chicken parmesan. What separates it from other places- their homemade red sauce as well as a fresh cut of chicken. The perfect drink to wash it down was their pear martini… another item they do better than many other restaurants. They’re always a generous size! This was my first visit to Pizzico and I'm glad I finally stopped by. The ambiance is welcoming and unrushed. The service was excellent with multiple people keeping the water fresh and the breadbasket full in an uninvasive and friendly style. The food was delicious, mostly local, and visually appealing. While the service was fast, we never felt rushed. The only drawback is that parking can be difficult sometimes. This is a great destination for a special evening out. Sat at the bar with my sister and boyfriend last night. I forget the girls name behind the bar she mentioned she usually is a server...she did a great job, and we had an awesome time. I rarely leave reviews but they're always positive if I choose to. Food was also awesome. We will be back. Price per person $50–100

Richly flavored pizza with an amazing peta crust! Would recommend Pizzico for a unique pizza experience! Lively ambience with indoor and outdoor seating options right on Hope Street. Limited vegetarian options but you can always request food according to your dietary preferences. Limited parking. The mussels were so good and the broth was amazing!! But I wasn’t too impressed by the scallops. Also, the cheesecake was not very good; it tasted like dense, cold grocery store cheesecake, not the light and fluffy cheesecake I remember they used to have. Gretlat place to sample modern day Italian cuisine. Their selection of wine and addition of raw bar makes the experience even more versatile and enthralling. An absolute must visit!

The food and service were really good, but the place was WAY too loud. It's a brick (or brick facade) interior, which results in a lot of echos, and at times I had difficulty hearing people sitting next to me over the general roar of the rest of the tables.
