The food was finger licking good literally lol So much flavor The fish was just right crispy & didn't have that "fishy" taste Mac & Cheese was bomb not too cheesy but just right Shrimp was on point The french fries have just the right amount of crisp & the taste is delightfully different like a mystery seasoning Greens were good & I don't care for greens The mashed potatoes & gravy was slaming The steak is tender The chicken tenders are on point The sweet potatoes 😋 I liked the spaghetti too Everything was delicious....I have to go back to try the ribs I totally recommend this place The staff is very friendly & welcoming. I hear ppl talking about soul food resturants quite often.... Well here it is!!!!

Extremely friendly service, and delicious food with generous portions. We we’re looking for a traditional Wisconsin supper club, but this intrigued us and we had to try it. When asked if we’d had soul food before, we assured them we had and liked it. The catfish was perfect, juicy with just the right seasoned crust. The wings were great (I chose the legacy sauce just for the name). The sides were all good too, corn was uniquely seasoned, the sweet potatoes melt in your mouth, the greens (a hard dish to get right) were smooth with a nice garlic kick and no bitterness. Of course it’s easy to see why people love the Mac & cheese as well. Dine in and be welcomed like family.

This place is the definition of what you get from a Mom and Pop restaurant, soon to be a staple in the city; and that’s that good home cooked meal prepared by a seasoned veteran chef. I had the Catfish Platter and Fries and since I’m a fat kid at heart I added a 3 piece Chicken Tender and I experienced the taste of perfection 🤌HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thanks for the great service and the warm welcome.

THIS FOOD WAS SO GOOD MY STEAK WAS SO TENDER THE TOPPINGS WAS SPOT ON MY MAC AND CHEESE AND CORN WAS EXCELLENT IT WAS Seasoned to perfection SOOOO GOOD I WILL BE BACK
