We had a delightful lunch at Plataforma despite the fact that there were only two servers for all of the tables, inside and out. The two fish dishes we had dourada do mar (sea bream) and rabalo marinho (sea bass) we're delicious. The sides were great, too. The service was good, and the price was right. The services were great, nice and friendly people. Good location if you want to have a sea view with breezes. Only the food quality was not good. Too salty and not fresh at all. Quite expensive given the food quality and small portion. It took forever to serve our one dish - cataplana the peixe (mixed seafood stew/€35 for 2). We finished all the starters (olive, breads, biscuits, etc.) and water. There are so many other better restaurants nearby so I don't think I will ever come back.

Great location and views. Food it's just ok (and too salty although I like that). Slow service but nice people. The owner is an old lady that is still around. Not too bad for being just on the beach.

Scam-tricks. The food was good but they charge you differently. When selecting 2 times the sea brass (+- 12€ per piece), they give you without saying the big sea brass which costs €45. When you say when paying; we selected 2 times the small one (total of €24), they say no, you got the big one of €45. CAREFUL! Manager is very rude, staff is just dependent of her. SCAM tricks! Too expensive for such a poor service one and a half hour waiting and starving.. Food ordered for 5 people, only three were served 1,5 hour later!! WE ALSO HAD A BABY ! THE PARENTS, TIRED OF THE WAITING WENT TO MACDONALD'S! This was supposed to be a family reunion it became a wicked Sunday. As we tried to get some explanation we came across arrogance from the staff! The five of us will never EVER FORGET what happened and ABOVE ALL WILL NEVER RETOURN TO THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN!! Service Dine in Price per person €30–35

One star is too much. 1h15min to wait for our plates then they even forget the dish of one person... chaos restaurant If you want sangria with ants (yes ants! Formigas!), this is your place to be

Oh my god the fish is awesome, and the lady that runs it is fantastic. I would definitely recommend it.
