What a pleasant surprise! From the outside it has the look of a dive bar. Inside it is recently decorated and extremely clean! Owners are super friendly and attentive. The food is standard bar fare but really good. I opted for the tenderloin sandwich and my better half opted for the build-your-own burger. We will definitely come back!

Wife had steak salad that was amazing! Fresh strawberries and blueberries along with carrots and mushrooms. You will not find something like this anywhere else in town. Best burger in the Illinois Valley! Burger patties are flavorful and with a crust right off food network.
Not in the menu but try the fried pickle spears! You won't be sorry.
Owners are very friendly. Left feeling like we made new friends tonight.

Really fun inviting place. Great burgers. Nice stage with live music on the weekend. Love it when the train goes by....you feel it in your feet. Very nice outdoor patio.

Great new owners. Very supportive of the community. Great vibe and cold drinks. The burgers are amazing. Lots of flavor and always juicy. Build your own burger is great. Get it your way. Lots of options. And the salads are so fresh as well. The steak salad which is a special on Wednesdays is amazing. Give them a try!!!
Great experience and mind blowing innovations. Bath bomb shots, freeze dried Skittles, apple.pie shots with real apple slice and delicious food. Oh yeah and the drinks are good and the beer is cold

Family owned business, a “dive” bar with old time features and great burgers that you fill out the order sheet on how you want it. There is other items you can order too. I hope everyone stops in & have a chat with the owners.

I wish I had taken photos when I first opened my meal. But I just couldn't wait to dig in! I ate the steak, couldn't help it, but it was there and delicious! This salad is INCREDIBLE!! I couldn't have made this at home for what I paid. Everything is fresh, crisp, sweet, crunchy, flavorful and she didn't skimp AT ALL! Did I say fresh? I mean F R E S H !!!
The garlic fries are delicious!! I have been disappointed with new places in the area recently and was a little skeptical that one of our little local bars could put out a decent meal. Pleasantly surprised and will continue to order from here! Can't wait to go back and try the burgers!!! And they're on DOORDASH TOO! WOOHOO! But they are so nice down there just go get it, say hi!

Amazing food, amazing owners, this place is an absolute must try! I had the burger and cheesy tots. Worth every penny this place is my new local favorite. this place is a local gem! And it's only a few miles from starved rock state park so stop by on your way into or out of the park you will be happy you did.

We ate here late(ish) for American dinner time on a Tuesday evening in November, so the place was very quiet. However, the quality of the food and service and friendliness of the owners was really good and nice. Very much recommended.
