I came here for the vibe, and it was totally a cool space! Great study spot, lots of windows, and natural light. I love that there are gluten and dairy free snacks available. But... I waited 30 minutes for an iced americano that was missing the oatmilk I paid extra for. I didn't have the heart to ask for a correction as it was very busy. Maybe there were not enough baristas to keep up with the commanding crowd? Maybe that's typical for a Sunday, or maybe I just got unlucky this time. It was my first time here. This is a small coffee roasting and shop and has many options. They serve specialty coffee from around the world. They also have roasted packages of 12 oz, 2 lb and 5 lb size ranges. You can have your them grind your coffee if you order it online. They also have a very interactive website with generous reward packages. My colleague mentioned about this place and I decided to check it out. When I looked online, I learnt that they have a light roast of Ethiopian fruity flavorful and aromatic coffee. I went and got a cup and checked its authenticity before ordering a bigger package. I loved it and I fully recommend this to coffee lovers. They reward packages are also very generous. They have small parking spot but spacious inside and outside seats with great ideas on the walls. They also serve light snacks and bottled/canned beverages. The entrance is a bit confusing because you have to go all the way around the house to get to the backyard parking area. The inside of the shop was pretty but my coffee i think was made with expired milk, it smelled and tasted very sour and when i asked about it they told me it was normal, i don’t normally leave reviews but i’ve never had a coffee that tasted like that and separated in such a way. I asked some of my friends who work in coffee and ice cream stores, and i also worked in a store that served coffee for two years, and they all told me the milk is expired. Also, I had my friends I was with taste it and they all said it tasted very unusual and sour. The coffee shop is so pretty tho! Get their pumpkin bread!! I love pumpkin bread and theirs is one of the best I’ve had. It had a great taste. I got an iced lavender latte and that also tasted great. Their lavender syrup has a very strong taste (my partner described it as “blending a whole stem of lavender into the drink”). I enjoyed it but I know some might not enjoy that strong of a lavender taste. This was also such a cute coffee shop, it’s very spacious and well-decorated. Polite Coffee Roasters is the ideal college student study spot… which can be a problem not of their own making when we have one of the nation’s largest universities in town! If you can snag a seat here, it’s an ideal study space. The staff is nice and casual, the old house/coffee shop vibes are perfect, and it is in a great location (besides the other parking lot turning into a building…). Every drink I’ve had has been great! An absolutely stunning coffee house that is a coffee store literally built into a house. It is a full immersion place with rooms and beautiful decor, and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. It is quite literally a plot of land with a house that has been converted to a coffee house - it has a yard, a gazebo, different rooms with different study spots. On top of all this, the coffee is good and there’s a unique range of choices to pick from. I would definitely recommend this a must try coffee spot in College Station-Bryan. Friendly staff, and good atmosphere all around. Parking beware, the parking situation is not great at all…. It’s best to get here early to get the best parking spot. Fills up quick especially with many people coming here to study. They have a great menu as well with food and drinks. I recommend the London fog! The kolaches here are delicious and sizeable and their lattes are beautiful with an appropriate amount of bitter sweetness. I have yet to try their black coffee. it's super pretty in here and a great atmosphere for community and work. This is my favorite coffee shop in BCS. Love everything I’ve tried here, however my wife has not been a fan of the herbal lemonades (sage/mint). I recommend the breakfast in bed latte and their polite tarts. The Kyle House is so unique, I’m mesmerized by it every time I’m there. This is my current favorite coffee shop in the Bryan/ College Station area. They roast all their coffee on site so it’s fresh when you drink it. They have a whole host of fresh roasted coffee options to take home with you. The in-house drink are all fantastic. My go-to drink is the cortado (which is served with a Hershey’s kiss and some sparkling water) but I love the seasonal and experimental drinks as well. The venue itself is a great spot to meet friend or get some work done. The staff are welcoming and very attentive to their craft.
