Look! Peep this! If you like Popeyes fried chicken ... then you must come to this location!!.. The food is EXCEPTIONALLY BETTER than any popeye's round these counties... I ordered a 3-Piece Chicken Meal and Sweet & Spicy Wings at this Popeyes location. The Chicken Meal met my expectations, I was pleasantly surprised by the wings. Love that perfect bite! The Spicy Chicken Sandwich was classic. One of the few breaded chicken I’ve found in a fast food chain. You can actually eat everything without having to worry too much about cholesterol. The rice and beans side was also a good complement for a satisfying meal. Bought two spicy chicken sandwiches from drive through. When we came back, this is how the sandwich bun is. Absolutely disgusting to look at that and we ended up not eating. This is such a bad experience with the quality of the food. If the bun is burnt, they should replace instead of serving the same to the customers. Wait time to long. I waited 15 minutes for hot wings and a 8 piece meal. Then the hot wings were dried out like they were sitting for a hour or more. Chicken was also dried out. Best chicken I’ve ever had. We ordered 2 Spicy chicken sandwiches and 12 pc chicken nuggets. The food was crunchy and delicious. There was even amazing customer service/satisfaction/care, when we pulled up to the window the workers had a huge smile on their faces, they looked really happy to be there. The bathroom had no paper towels, I informed the employee just just looked at me. We ordered 4 chicken sandwiches 3 were spicy one a regular. The piece of chicken on the regular was tiny and mayo smothered all over the place. I understand fast food jobs are hard, but at least give a little effort.

There are two local locations. This one and another one just up in Smokey Point by Hobby Lobby. Same owner, different prices. If you get a two piece meal and ask for it to be all white meat, you’ll end up secretly with an additional $1 charge. The Smokey Point location doesn’t charge for the difference. I unknowingly paid the $1 and finally noticed it. I brought it to the manager’s attention and she refused to offer the same pricing as the other location. I asked for my money back since I hadn’t gotten the food yet. She went back, had me wait 3 minutes, then came back, gave me the food, a dollar bill and told me to never come back. Very rude. I’ve never returned and continue to frequent the Smokey Point location. Better wait staff also. Fresher food too!

Not impressed. Ordered chicken nuggets. Got some thing that looked like they tore the chicken into strong cheese. Asked about nuts in recipe since it is southern food usually having nuts in there or fried in peanut oil. Cashier had to call manager who didn't know. Was told that probably not but if I was worried I should eat somewhere else. Not impressed with their lack of knowledge. Biscuits were good. Mac and cheese side was decent. Decor looks all orange and yellow right out of the 70's. Very dated. Final thing that summed up the whole thing was only utensils were SPORKS!! I thought those went into history as a failed experiment decades ago.
