Upon ordering a meal, which includes drinks, I noticed on the screen there was a surcharge for $.30 for each drink. When I asked about it, they then removed it and apologized. Apparently, they automatically add in a surcharge and unless you catch it, you end up paying for it Once we got home, I opened my side, which is already reduced in size over the last few years, only to find that it’s half full. Two meals cost me $30, two can eat at Olive Garden for that! At least there I would make sure and get a complete side with no special surcharges. I like Popeyes and have tried to give them chance after chance. I have ordered food online to arrive and they not have the food available. Meaning I order chicken wings and they have none but still allow ordering. I have ordered from them and they haven't had any fries, and Mac n cheese, or just have thrown my food together. Then most recently they were taking cash orders only, no credit or debit. The issue that I have with this is that you sit in a long line while no signs are posted letting you know that they are out of food are only taking one form of payment. Something needs to be done about it. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The staff needs to be replaced, or retrained and taught customer service skills. Took 10 minutes for my order to be taken at the drive through menu, and no one was in line then another ten mins waiting for my food. I keep giving Popeyes another try and it's still the same service I'm done they need to bring churches back! Worst fast food experience I've had in a very long time. I ordered for pick up, got there at 730, 25 minutes after I ordered, and they didn't even start filling order. Stood and waited for 10 minutes for them to begin making order for them to tell me they don't have Mac n cheese, chicken sandwiches or Ranch. I asked to replace with tenders and mashed potatoes. Looked through the bag they gave me and was missing multiple items, and was still missing some when I got home. Got home, the all dark chicken I ordered was all white meat, and undercooked. The rice was hard where I almost broke a tooth. The 12 piece wings was only 8 and didn't have sauce on them. The spicy tenders weren't spicy. I couldn't mess up a order so bad if I tried. Been to the Waxahachie store many times, they have never had any wings, ever. Went today for a chicken sandwich. Nope,they had no sandwiches, wings or nuggets at 2 PM. We love the original sandwich and would sure love to try the wings, but I think it's time to give them up. Service Take out Food: 4 Service: 4

Horrible place they open whenever they fell like it and ignore customers. They are supposed to open at 10am but they will have the doors locked during business hours and ignore the drive through.

Took 15 mins to get to menu to order, only one car in front of me. Then they tell me 5 mins for the food, that turned in to 21 minutes. They weren't even busy as it wasn't rush hour. I tell the girl who brought out a d she shrugs and say ok. She could care less..took me almost an hr to get strips and nuggets. I have given this place numerous tries...they don't care if people come back. Sad especially paying $40.00. I get tired of cooking everyday...don't eat out much! i was over charged by $20 plus dollars. the employee said they misheard us, but strangely our order was correct (not the items they “claimed” to miss-hear). once we went back and got our refund, we opened our bag of food only to find everything disgusting and old. red beans and rice had hard, crunchy rice, mac and cheese looked like it had been sitting there for days, french fries greasy and tough. i will never go back here! This place is the reason I will NEVER eat Popeyes again! The chicken tasted like it was days old. Soggy and greasy it was supposed to be spicy it was not. The girl at the window seemed grossly incompetent. Missing food from my order and they didn’t want to give me what I paid for (I’m glad they didn’t once I tasted what I had).
