Had the pizza here after reading some good reviews. Can’t remember the name but ordered a spice one. The quality of the ingredients were good and the dough was soft and kind of rubbery which a good pizza would be.
Considering where this pizzeria is I’m rating this 5/5. I would definitely come back here.

Loved their fantastic four but didn’t like the garlic bread. Garlic bread has some weird spreads of spices. Pizza crust is too chewy. Ordered twice on food panda app service but due to really high marked prices, i was discouraged to order from them again. Service and atmosphere were excellent.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the pizza. We ordered the La Raclette and it was amazing. Popolo serves some of the best Italian pizza I've ever tasted. The flavors are authentic, the crust is perfectly crispy, and the toppings are fresh and generous. Each bite is a journey to Italy, and it's evident that the chefs are masters of their craft.
Despite the overall excellence, I must note that the tiramisu did not quite live up to the high standard set by the pizzas. While it wasn't bad, it lacked the exceptional quality that the rest of the menu offers. It was less sweet than expected and didn't leave a lasting impression.
Nevertheless, the outstanding pizzas and the delightful ambiance make Popolo a must-visit spot in Luang Prabang. The attentive staff adds to the positive experience, ensuring that your time here is not just a meal but a culinary adventure.

Best Pizza. Don't miss it... TRUST me!!! I'm half Italian so I know what I am talking about. My recommendation is Pizza No 7 with caramelized onions, Apple and Brie Cheese.

Good place for pizza!
The pizza is great, 8-piece per pan with lots of toppings to choose. We tried ham and burratta cheese - it's great! The dough is good crunchy yet chewy.
Stuffed dough with various fillings are also good as snack - we tried garlic and mozzerella.
Cocktails are interesting and good, lots of beer to choose, from Lao's to international famous brands.
Deocration and atmosphere are intersting, best for groups to sit and talk and enjoy beers together. Both outdoor (limited) and indoor seatings (no air con., though.)
Warning: the food is quite sloooow,... seems like they can cook only one pan of pizza at a time in their oven! Ha!

Lovely place with great food and friendly staff. although they seemed a bit understaffed and their pricing has gone up quite a bit over the past one or two years so be aware of the menu pricing you find here on Google. No matter what, I still recommend stopping by. For me it was the perfect western lunch, their pizza dough is awesome.

One of the best pizzas I ever had in Asia ! Feels very authentic, especially for the cheese which is a hard thing in SEA.
I personally ordered the La Chaudasse pizza which has a nice spicy kick to it.
Highly recommend this restaurant, I will definitely come back

Best pizza we’ve ever had!! The staff are all really friendly, the food is amazing (came here both evenings that we were in Luang Prabang because it was so good). Highly highly recommend but it can be very busy so be prepared to wait or book in advance!

I love Popolo's pizza and was extremely happy that our hotel was right around the corner on our last visit to Luang Prabang. We first visited Popolo a couple of years ago and the food is consistently good. I love the gaprow moo khay dao pizza --- stir fried pork with basil and an egg on top of a cheese and tomato sauce pizza --- it may sound strange, but it works and it's amazing. I still think about it. My son had a pizza margherita and my wife had a yummy pasta with a cream sauce and bits of walnuts which was delicious. My wife reports her whisky sour was also very good. Staff and service great, food is yummy, we'll definitely visit again.
Popolo is popular and making a reservation is a good idea during the high season.
