Went here four times during my stay at Rosebank hotel and was impressed every time. The dining room and bar are absolutely gorgeous. Incredible Instagram worthy interior. Everything we ate was delicious and portions were very generous. Especially enjoyed the breakfasts and Moroccan Chicken. Nice selection of mocktails. Price is average for the area. I've been to Proud Mary a few times now, and I've always had a decent experience. The staff is friendly and attentive, even if they are a bit slow sometimes. The food is also good, and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, I was disappointed to find that my favorite dish, the Seafood linguine has changed its recipe. It used to be my go-to dish, but now it just doesn't taste the same. I'm not sure why they changed it, but I'm not a fan of the new recipe. Overall, I would still recommend Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Service was decent, atmosphere was great, drinks were good as well. But the cheese board 😂😭 I'm sorry but it's been a few months and I think about that cheese board every now and then when I wake up so the anger I feel towards it can propel me out of bed. Our experience with the cheese board made us hesitant to order mains so we had some drinks and left. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

It's Luxury, but not really. The shop fittings are immaculate. Beautiful art on the walls, marble tables and the bespoke cutlery. Kudos to the interior design team because they did an amazing job. Unfortunately the service was below par. I wasn't greeted smile and this made me feel like an unwelcome guest. The staff exhibited poor listening skills. I asked for a water with ice and lemon and just got a water. I ordered the the Falafel and Roast Veg salad and the meal failed the eyeball test. The presentation wasn't great. Halfway through the meal I got a doggy bag and a day later I still haven't finished the meal. All things considered this is a beautiful place. A nice place to do a bit of light work. Had dinner here for my birthday. Good location. Vibrant. Stylish and elegant, tables nicely spaced, waiters all very professional and friendly. Food was good! Although expect small portions & a bit on the expensive side - perfect for what it is. We had lots of small platters for the table. And dessert was amazing. We went there a little while ago and ordered various small plates so we could have a bit of everything. All the dishes were made with fresh ingredients and packed with flavor. I also loved that they had such a wide variety of vegetarian dishes on their menu 🥗🥙🍱🍲🥘 The sticky aubergine (v) and artichoke hearts (v) were a HIT but personally the mushroom risotto (v) and the pan roasted duck won me over 😍👌🏽. Other dishes we had included: * Crispy squid (p) * Spicy beef wontons * XO prawns (p) * Salt and pepper sirloin * Moules frites (p) * Machego arancini (v) * Nouc cham pork belly * Salmon tataki salad (p) PS: V-vegetarian friendly. The food, the set up/ decor, the ambience will definitely be going back every weekend. Perfect spot for chilled drinks and dinner for someone like me who doesn't like noisy clubs and bars. Gorgeous restaurant in Cradock Avenue Rosebank! You’re met with shaded seating outside for those summer days with a beautiful entrance to the restaurant and an exquisite bar. My luncheon was exclusive of: •XO Prawns [without the pork] •Seafood Linguine •Fillet Mignon •Gin Blossom Tea •Singapore Sling •Whiskey Sours •Valentina [non-alcoholic cocktail] Plenty seating inside of the restaurant, squeaky bathrooms and an impressive service overall. I went in on a Saturday Evening. I would recommend a booking as they do get busy and you may have to wait for a table if there is no booking. The restaurant has an cozy decor which is modern. Our waitor was friendly and kept on checking up on us. I decided to try the Moroccan chicken for my main. The portion size was really nice. The chicken was done perfectly and was tender. It came on a bed of wheat. I personally did not fully enjoy the taste of that. There was a nice slice of Naan which was nice. I would return to try some other options.
