We were pleasantly surprised by Puterko's! The garlic knots are amazing, the pizzas really good and the service is efficient and friendly.
They have a selection of different types of pizza to order from or you can just "design your own", which is great for any dietary restrictions.
And they have VEGAN CHEESE to substitute on the pizza (instead of regular cheese)...and it's delicious!
Also: make sure to ask for extra home-made red sauce for your garlic knots, this stuff is good!

Some of the best pizza I have yet to have! Crispy bottom to the crust with just the right amount of toppings. Great options and unique ones too! From the Cowboy (chicken, onion, BBQ, cheese, etc) and the Polander (cheese, spicy brown mustard, kielbasa, and sauerkraut) posted below to regular pizza galore. We stopped here just as a place to stop and found great family service with excellent pizza. Would go back time and again for sure!
Great little pizza place. Good pizza, nice staff. Reminds me of old school NYC slices. A gem in the area and worth the trip out of the way for pizza upstate.

My wife and I love this place! They have vegan cheese and lots of options for vegetable toppings. The pizzas are delicious. And the French fries are excellent. We eat there every time we vacation in Indian Lake. Oh, and the Puterko family members are all super nice. Can't wait to eat there again next time we're in town.
So surprised to find seriously good NY pizza on the central Adirondacks. Really great pizza dough/crust and sauce too, and any real pizza lover knows it all starts on a great crust, and these guys nail it.
Great sandwiches & tasty hot dishes. And yeah, the pizza! Most pizzas are truly excellent, have tried several items while visiting & camping nearby over past 3 yrs. They do some very different specialty dishes & pizzas, very cool & not just the usual. I'll mention just one pizza not worth getting (unless it was a one-time mess-up & maybe they fixed it by now?), and that was the Margherita pizza; last time we ordered that was summer 2020 though on this one order occasion somebody decided it was OK to use a heavy layer of dried basil instead of real fresh basil leaves, on a Margherita pizza! Good God NO, never do that, bitter as hell. I hope that has changed or was a one-time mistake, & would ask & confirm that they're using FRESH basil before ordering the Margherita. If not, they should pull it off the menu. Every other dish & pizza we've ordered here has been really good to excellent. No hesitation, we return often, easily at least once per trip to Indian Lake.
I really hate to leave a bad review but the pizza we ordered here on a Saturday evening which we picked up after about 25 to minutes and a half an hour after we ordered it was in fact raw it was disgusting and basically it was inedible we couldn't get it we just ate the outer crust around the outside edges and the garlic knots were okay

Wait time was over an hour and 20 min; it was explained to us that even though we ordered in person, the phone orders take precedence because a “ringing phone is more important.” Thus phone orders placed after our in person order were prepared first. Many people were waiting for long periods.
Pizza was fair: good crust; light basic sauce; toppings average.
Will not return.
