Outstanding restaurant offering authentic Cuban cuisine with a unique twist. Our server Vania provided exceptional service and was very attentive. Located off the beaten path, it's definitely worth the visit. Having frequented Puerto Vallarta for many years, it was refreshing to discover something new. I highly recommend checking this place out before it gains too much popularity. I will certainly return. The pricing is reasonable, portions are very generous, and both the music and ambiance contribute to a fantastic dining experience. I cannot praise this establishment enough. My mom and I had one of our best meals in Vallarta at Qué Bolá! My mother got to relive her trip to Havana in 1998 with the projected movie on the 2nd floor of the restaurant. She was also able to maintain her gluten-free diet. I thoroughly enjoyed the music, the ambiance, the service, but especially the food: the pork tenderloin was so juicy and the creamy cheese Qué Bolá soup was out of this world with taste! Highly recommend a visit to this gem! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $200–300 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Roasted Pork

This was the first restaurant we went to upon arriving to PV and were not disappointed. The staff here were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. We had the chicharron Cubano appetizer and a sandwich/meat and potato entree. The food here was so good that we wanted to come back again before leaving but decided against it to try out more food within PV. It is also conveniently located right outside the door of a few of the condominiums. Great location, beautiful outdoor seating and amazing food. Decently priced food as well relative to the rest of downtown PV. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $300–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great atmosphere! Downstairs is the bar and the second floor is to dine in. The staff was friendly and I believe the person who helped us is the owner. He was so kind and helped us with our questions about spice level and cocktail drinks. My favorite part of this restaurant is the vibes. My advice is go at night time because there is a beautiful view from the roof terrace. Very affordable and great taste. For appetizers try the “croquettas” our total including the highest tip option was $80-us currency. If you are looking for a place with spicy food this isn’t for you. Cuban food is more on the sweeter side. I would definitely return :) Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The plantains are fantastic. The drinks a bit weak. Arroz con Pollo was a bit bland but they try hard. The lechon looked better. I wish id had their cuban sandwich. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $200–300 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Roasted Pork
Three stars is generous. Because the place is decorated so beautifully. They best thing going… Well, what can I say… a bit of a disappointment… best way to describe it… Americanized Cuban… the roast pork was so dry, we did not even touch it. The yucca was like hard wood… the crab in the pallea looks awesome… but was boiled in bland water and stuck on the dish… no flavor. To add to this, the device was horrible… need I say more. Too expensive for what you get and not authentic. I hope the people claim the food to be authentic have actually spent time in Cuba 😬 Service Dine in
Well, I saw this new restaurant in my favorite part of zona romántica and let me say it did not disappoint. The art and decor, the detail in the murals, the service, the cute patio... and I haven't even talked about the food! First, we had appetizers; yucca frita tostones de camaron. So nice. Also, ceviche criollo. Herbaceous and tangy... yummy! My partner had "enchilada de camarón" which is really nothing like a Mexican "enchilada", let me tell you, but still very tasty. And I love that the menu has pictures. This food needs them. I enjoyed the paella, the 1/2 small crab wasn't much of a value to me, i would have just liked something else instead, but it looks cool when it arrives! The value for the money is certainly there. They'd probably do well if they offered lunch service or opened earlier but they are 4 to 10pm on Thursdays. Sundays they have a LIVE salsa band and dancing downstairs which is nice. They really should use that space for more tables rather than let it go empty when the restaurant is full. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Seems a shame this place was mostly empty when we dined here tonight. We had a supremely friendly and helpful server and the kitchen staff bid us a friendly farewell as we left. My partner and I shared the croquettes for an appetizer and then the Eloya pork dish, which was extremely flavorful. Took the chocolate dessert to go since we were staying just across the street and could keep the ice cream cold. I think they suffer from just being a mere block away from most of the action, but you should definitely check them out for when you want something other than Mexican.
