Food is only ok, the space is very noisy - too many windows and no curtains - and it was crowded. Service was good for a self service. For the price, and considering it is a self service all you can eat, one can't expect much more, but still food could be better. Yo he ido a comer un bufé el sábado y la verdad que por el precio que tiene esta bastante bien, la comida no es de gran calidad, de hecho yo lo que más comí fue las ensaladas y los postres porque la comida está muy recalentada y se hace muy seca (pero eso es de gustos claro) el sitio es cómodo y muy agradable y el sábado por la noche hay cena con música. The food was typical Portuguese food. Bacalhão, breads, soups, unidentifiable meat bits, desserts. The best dessert was gone before we had a chance to get it, and they never brought another one. The place was large and very crowded and noisy. One jerk whistled extremely loud 3 times! It was so bad I finally got out of my seat and made it very clear to him that this was NOT acceptable behaviour. The price for the all-you-can-eat buffet was reasonable, 12.50 euros. Not recommended. The place is beautiful and the staff truly were very helpful given the kind of management they have. To begin with we were offered a change of place 2 days before the wedding. We did consider and agree to this change as it was more suitable to our wedding however noone came to us to reorganise the ceremony nor the party. From day one we dealt with Raquel, who knew all the details as we have been communicating for months. However she had to be off for that week for personal reasons and it seems that the information was not passed on to her colleagues. We dealt with one of the owners, Arlindo. On the wedding day my partner (husband to be) had to sort out the ceremony seats while Arlindo was being rude to him, complaining about the staff and acting very unprofessionally. On top of that I ( wife to be) was given another bride's bouquet and when complaining about it Arlindo started shouting at my husband about it saying thay Raquel had never advised anyone about a bouquet. On the day of the party we were told that we had until 1am, when we had been advised in several occasions that we had until 2am to party. At 1am Arlindo came in and spoke to our DJ in a very bad manner telling them to stop the music. When my husband saw this he went to talk to him and Arlindo was extremely rude and unprofessional, at some point he just walked away. This almost ruined our night which is unforgivable. Food wise, the quality was very poor and the meat was served cold. We also had an unattended open bar with very limited drink choices. In all honesty, I would not recommend this place unless you hire a wedding planner and go over every detail with them to ensure it all goes according to plan. The day after when we went to make the payment, Arlindo, conveniently had to go. this was after my partner heard them arguing and shouting in the office. We then spoke to Piedade, the other owner who was basically manipulating us and ignoring all we were saying. There was no willingness from her to resolve the issues, I was even charged for the last minute bouquet even though they never sorted mine...this was very disappointing too. When we complained about all this issues, Piedade suggested to send an email so this wouldn't happen in future wedding, this was extremely shocking customer service from their part. We also had a dinner the day before the wedding and they gave us a price of 25€ per person for a buffet, Including drinks and coffee. They served us the lunch left overs (we had lunch there), we found this very cheap and tacky. So in a nutshell, try to avoid having your event here. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch
