Serious amazing dinner! What ever special Chef Ruben is cooking up- just do it. It was as good or better than a private farm to table dinner we had recently. The restaurant was quiet tonight but we went early and made a google reservation. Normally, it’s booked out for the night because there’s only 4-5 tables total. Delicious and memorable. It’s a must when on La Ventana. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Absolutely incredible food, this place deserves a Michelin Star. We had the fish + shrimp, and the stuffed pepper with shrimp. My partner's words "this is the best food I've ever had". It is definitely the best seafood I've ever had. The homemade reduction sauces are the secret sauce. The only downside? After an incredible dinner leaving you wanting more, they don't serve dessert! Radaroma has such an incredibly warm and comforting atmosphere. Chef Ruben is an absolute star! Trust that his specials are amazing; the combo plate is the best of it all! I have been kiting in La Ventana 2 weeks, eating dinner in a different restaurant each night. This meal by Chef Rubin was, far and away, the best meal that I had. I never write reviews, but our food was so wonderful that I had to express my thanks in some way. Have what ever he recommends. You won’t be disappointed. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

All I can say is WOW! I had the nightly special, Fish and shrimp. Unbelievable, I'm not a big fish eater but if every fish I ate tasted like this, I might have to rethink my diet.(I probably should anyway 😄). My wife had a Chilli Relleno and was blow away by it. All I can say is if you find yourself in La Ventana, you must stop in for dinner. Very reasonably priced as well. Chef Ruben is amazing. This is the best food I've had in La Ventana. Unassuming location, but it's a true fine dining experience. Chef Ruben is a talent to say the least. We came to El Sargento during the off-season, and were able to book Ruben to come to the house and create incredible 5-star meals and memories for our group for two nights. The food was so amazing that we went to his restaurant Radaroma on our last night and had another fantastic meal with the place all to ourselves. Chef Ruben deserves five stars for the dishes he creates and serves. We went there multiple times and if there longer, would have kept going back. His culinary training is evident in food presentation and the menu itself. Getting to sit outside and watch him prepare the food, talk to us while doing so was priceless. You may wait a little longer for service or food, but you should, is worth it, you are supporting the future in this restaurant. Go, eat one of everything he recommends, you will not be disappointed. Super fresh, extremely delicious, and a bit sophisticated dishes come out of Chef Ruben’s simple kitchen set up. Impressive. And with the standard la ventana prices...not to be missed. We came across it during our Wonderfeel Wellness travels.
