I DONT USUALLY SHOP AT RALPHS. BUT I DID TODAY. AND WOW NICE BIG STORE. ILL DEFINITELY COME BACK. CASHIERS WERE REALLY NICE. WENT TO BUY WONS TONS AND DUMPLINGS. ALSO GREEN GRAPES BIG NICE AND JUICEY

This five star is for their cake and cupcakes. Freshly made at a great price. Their customer service is top notch. A dozen for $9 and a whole cake for $20. I have gotten $200 cakes for birthdays and $45 cupcakes from bakery. This beats all the other ones!

Happy Dang Thanksgiving to all. Wow!!! Except if you’re a checker suffering with allergies like more than 1/3 of the population. My mom and I shopped on 11/20/23 at 12:30pm. I’m being generous giving the store 3 Stars. They had a great inventory in all Holiday items and there bakery, deli, olive bar and cheese lady alone are worth the trip. I give them 10 Stars and 2 Thumbs up. Only to be brought down by the check out process. We were guided nicely by a very nice lady who told us there was one line down an aisle and she would then put us in a check out lane. Ok great BUT the aisle she put us in had a HUGE MASSIVE display of food that you had to go past the turn around then wait but meanwhile other shoppers were coming down the aisle to shop which made it extremely difficult to get in that line as others got in front of you. I mentioned this to this nice woman that it would be much easier to move the display further down the aisle so we could move easier to line up and not block each other. She looked at me like I had 5 heads. Then comes the best part…we get the rudest checker in our lives and I’ve been in the grocery industry for over 40 years plus I love to grocery shop. Weird I know. But after my mom asked how she was she finally says she is having allergy issues. She wished her well and received a litany of complaints. Ugh. If you’re that bad stay home or fake it till you make it but being rude to your customers is is not the way to go. I can hang but DO NOT BE RUDE TO MY 84yr old mom. You’ve crossed the line. This checker had long light brown hair and was working at that time. Won’t be hard to find. We spent over $300 and looking back I’d rather have spent it at Stater Bros.

Would like to acknowledge the fine customer service provided by Dominic, who took the time to help me locate Frozen Cauliflower Bites. He stayed with me until I found them…had gone to another store that showed item online. When asked help from their store manager, I was told their system does not tell them what items are carried in their store(???!) I left another item that I had also intended to purchase, but left without it. I will not spend my money at stores with poor customer service. Ralph’s has exceeded my expectations in the customer service aspect! Thank you Dominic, Seal Beach Store.

Absolutely awful experience at Ralphs with Western Union. Virginia’s indifference and the absence of anyone overseeing money orders were beyond frustrating. Appalling customer service. If zero stars were an option, that’s what this visit deserves. Time wasted and money order service neglected. Extremely dissatisfied.

You get less for more these days and Kathy (Katherine) in my opinion is a fine example of this! I came to this store and spent a lot of my money and in return I got less customer care and service. What I did get though was accused of stealing in the self checkout lane by Kathy as a big group of people waiting in line stared at me. Kathy accused me of skipping items and not placing them on the check stand and not following "the rules." Well Kathy when you scan a 12pack of soda it says on the machine "place item in bagging area OR cart." If we're not allowed to put items back in the cart then update the self-checkout software to say simply place item in bagging area! I placed it in the cart with the other three 12 packs I had already scanned because I had a lot of items that still needed to be scanned. When I asked Kathy for corporates number she said in a rude condescending manner that corporate isn't going to do anything because I failed to follow "the rules." When I spoke to the store manager he was very helpful, well mannered and professional unlike Kathy who in my opinion maintained a rude, disrespectful, and condescending manner. As I left the store I returned her pen that I had borrowed to write down corporates number and as I did she told her manager "Get this guy out of here!!!" In my opinion the lack of respect, common decency and customer service is absolutely unacceptable. I used to prefer to shop at this Ralphs but now I might just start shopping elsewhere.

Good grocery shopping place. I like the rib eye steak there, it always has a good deal, and good quality also. And a lot of soda options, often has a very good deal.

Very nice, clean, and fully stocked. I stopped to get two large bottles of coffee creamer, some avocados, shredded cheese, and to grab a few quick pick lottery tickets from the self serve machine...which most stores machine don't work. Plenty of parking, and no wait to check out at all. A+
