If you love BAMA as much as I do and love the Idea of eating in the shadow of Bryant Denny Stadium, this is the place for you. If you can be captivated by BAMA sports memorabilia and how the food is won't matter because it will be great no matter what, this place is for you. If, however, you want food that's better than McDonalds, that's not cold, and actually taste at least ok, don't go here. The mystique of the whole place is mezmerizing. This is the place to go if you're a BAMA fan as you could spend hours here looking at all the memorabilia. Food was very good, with my wife raving about the Fried Green Tomato sandwich and the Peach Pie which she said was even better than the one at The Varsity in Atlanta. It's been awhile since I've had Rama Jama's and the food was still good. Prices were reasonable. The service was just a little off. Their wasn't too much hospitality to speak of, which is surprising considering it is a hometown staple for locals and Bama fans. The moral was low and the cashier was just weird. You are immediately emersed into Alabama memorabilia. We went on a day that was not game day, so while they were some what busy, it was not overly crowded or crazy busy. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. My husband and myself had a BLT sandwich which was very good and would highly recommend. Rama Jama’s is a “must visit “ place when you come to Tuscaloosa. This American sports bar/grill serves breakfast all day, along with sandwiches and bar snacks and drinks. They also have 2-for-1 mimosas on the weekend. Be sure to check out all the UA sports memorabilia while inside placing your order. On game day, early before they shut down the road in front and beside the restaurant. It’s a great place to hang out and get game ready. If you are a Bama fan, even if you’re not!, Visit Rama Jama’s. It is decorated floor to ceiling with all things Bama memorabilia. The service is extraordinary! And the food! We had a company get together for breakfast here and it was an amazing experience.
