As a burger chain, this RR at Corner Star doesn't disappoint. Great burgers (while smaller than before) continue to taste great... especially with all the different themes! As a vegetarian, I appreciate all the equally tasty options. Absolutely horrendous experience. We went because we were shopping at Target and thought this would be a good meal. We showed up around 7:30 to what seemed like a ghost town. Only 2 other tables had people eating. We went in… took about 10 minutes to be sat. Once sat, the server took forever to come over. She also wasn’t very pleasant and was taking forever to check on the other tables as well. Buns came out completely old and stale. Our toddler got corn dogs that weren’t cooked and cold. Never got drink refills and she never gave us our fry refill either. So once we paid and left… we saw her sitting at a table in the back talking to her friends. No wonder she wasn’t coming around. There’s a time and place for friends and work isn’t one of them. Especially if it’s hindering you from doing your job. Won’t be returning to this Red Robin any time soon. I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience at a restaurant and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. Let me start by saying that we decided to dine at this particular establishment because my daughter had received a certificate from her school for a free milkshake as a reward for her good behavior. Needless to say, she was beyond excited. However, our first interaction with our server set the tone for the rest of the meal and it was not a good one. We mentioned that we had the free milkshake certificate, only to be told that their computer systems were down and he wasn't even sure if we could use it. Seriously? This is not our problem and it's certainly not something we should be dealing with as customers. Now, I understand that technical issues can happen, especially in a service environment. But here's the thing - figure it out to the best of your ability and pivot. Try your best to minimize the impact on the customer experience and take ownership of the situation from start to finish. As expected, all our food and drinks took a while to come out. We understood the stress on the system and didn't expect refills or anything extra. However, what really bothered us was the fact that we never received the milkshake we came for. To top it all off, at some point during our meal, the server brought us a manual credit card form and asked us to fill in our orders and write down our credit card numbers. Now, I'm no expert, but isn't that part of the server's job? It made me question whether this was some sort of major Red Robin scam set up. I couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of it all. By the end of the meal, the computer was finally working, but we had already manually filled out our own ticket for the server. And still, no milkshake. As I was inquiring about the shake, the table next to us received not one, but five milkshakes. Apparently, they had an extra one and it was delivered to them by mistake. It was disheartening to witness this, especially knowing that we came in solely for the milkshake. Finally, our waiter was forced to rectify the situation and he returned with a small to-go milkshake that was the wrong flavor. Now, I understand that Red Robin is not a fine dining establishment and I didn't have high expectations. But the complete lack of service and common sense displayed by the staff truly saddens me. If a restaurant can't manage to function when technology goes down, one can only imagine the chaos if a more critical system were to fail. It's a glimpse into the idiocracy that we may be heading towards. In conclusion, my visit to this restaurant was a disappointment on many levels. From the initial mishandling of the milkshake situation to the overall lack of service and professionalism, it left a sour taste in my mouth. I hope that the management takes note of these issues and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a more positive dining experience for future customers. The management set the wait staff up for failure. Only two servers to look after the entire restaurant during an elementary school fund raiser. We were there an hour and finally left because we still hadn't gotten our food. The manager never came out to help the poor high school kids trying to keep up with everyone. He also didn't bother to talk to the patrons about what was going on. The kid trying to serve us was doing his best but, sheesh!! he could only do so much without any help Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Food was okay. However, our main issue was my daughter’s cup was dirty. Server apologized but it took away from our appetite. No offer was made to adjust anything and we didn’t ask but you would think something would’ve been done. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Several months ago, we had decided we were never going to Red Robin again because the one closest to our home, the one on S Havana St, had such horrible service, it wasn't worth it. We had gotten the same server 3 times in a row, and she was awful. Then one day, we decided to give them another try, but at the one at Cornerstar. We were seated in the area with the bar, and we got Bree as our server. This young woman is on the ball. We have had her 2 times now, and both times, the service was excellent. We love their food, so we are really happy to have Red Robin back on our list of go-to restaurants. The server that seated guest assumed that every black person that walked through the door was with a birthday party that was predominately black. My party of two (black) was in fact not part of the party. This was unprofessional and the server began seating us in an area less preferable without giving us an option, then seats white guests and asked them if where they were seated was ok. This waiter literally asked the white guests that entered the restaurant “how many” and pointed all the black guests to the birthday party when in turn he should have greeted all the customers the same then allowed the customer to inform that they were with the birthday party. What if a white person was part of the birthday party? They would not have got directed to the birthday party because the server was to busy sending all the blacks to the birthday party. My party of two was seated at the front of the restaurant which is how we were able to observe this uncomfortable situation. Lastly, this server was white, go figure. A clear case of lack of knowledge and the big R…… Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

I absolutely love Red Robin and go there every year for my birthday and many times throughout the year. Unfortunately they were short-staffed and once the food was dropped off at the table the young waiter never came back one time to ask us how our food was. I understand that a lot of people called in sick so it really wasn't his fault. I refuse to give a bad score for something like this. I say this so that perhaps the server will be taught from management to at least go to the table to ask how the food is and refill the sodas. We will continue to go to Red Robin. We always go to the one that is off of Arapahoe and Parker. Thank you for the wonderful Bonsai Burger that's the only item I've ever ordered there because it's so good. The french fries are awesome. I hope that this review helps management to retrain these young hard workers. Thank you Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
