Georgia-founded coffee shop with 4 total locations. Their Norcross cafe is cozy, yet lively with jazz music gently playing in the background and large windows allowing natural light to flood inside throughout the day. They're a nonprofit company with outstanding intentions you'd be happy to support.
Things you should know:
I. PARKING
Refuge Coffee is at the right end of the downtown plaza area. Street parking is available out front of the business. I noticed coming anytime before noon on weekdays leaves plenty of available space options open for convenient parking; however, as the afternoon approaches, finding a space can be rather difficult.
II. SERVICE
Friendly and timely
III. QUALITY
Their coffee is dense and acidic ~ not watered-down, ideal for coffee snobs like me. If you prefer less dense coffee, they have milk and milk alternatives available to dilute your beverage. I particularly liked that this location has sugar-free syrup options to mix up your drink with.
IV. CAPACITY
During my time here, the crowd seemed to be heaviest around noon hours. It tapers off after. Although the outdoor and indoor seating is slim, I continuously saw available seating so you'll be golden to visit and find a seat.

Beautiful building and atmosphere and lovely people. And the coffee is so good!! Had the honey latte. They combine a great mission with a well-done product. The outdoor seating is beautiful and fun for a group of friends. And it’s next door to Butter & Cream I’ve cream for the kids!

This small coffee shop is a new gem for downtown Norcross!!! It's small, but it got a bathroom, tables to sit both indoor and outdoor. Parking is just imprint of the shop. I'll definitely come back again!!!

Very cute little coffee shop. I also liked the concept behind it of helping those that are new to this country, immigrants and resettled refugees. It's good to see a business with an ethical community oriented purpose behind it other than profit.

Great coffee. Pastries from Alon’s bakery very delicious. There is some outdoor seating that is either shared or is from the ice cream shop next door. Indoor seating is limited. The ambiance is so nice and great cause and business.

They can take all my money! The coffee was great- I had an iced white chocolate latte with an extra shot of espresso. Very smooth. Loved the ambiance and the carpet inside. Can’t wait to make this a staple and go out of my way to come here to support.

Peaceful cafe to sip coffee and read a little or get a little work done .. nice outside if the sound of a train doesn’t bother you.

The one thing that could separate Refuge Coffee from the other local coffee shop is if they had fresh breakfast items. Sadly they only have pastries baked off site. Not only that it cost $7.20 for a medium vanilla latte which is outrageous for a coffee.
Amazing coffee, incredible atmosphere, and in the best little city Georgia has to offer!
