The sophisticated Swedish food in Gothenburg. We had a course dinner, it came with bread, appetizer, main, and dessert. Everything was so tasty. Today’s drink with cucumber wad so fresh and tasty, and the staff was raking care of us and survive was good. Welcoming staff in cozy environment. The food was good, but the fish dish was strangely under seasoned, must have been a mistake given that everything else was on par. Good drinks and a small but nice selection of craft beers. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had a very good experience at Familjen. The restaurant is lovely decorated and have a relaxed atmosphere. Our dishes was very flavoursome and beautifully presented. The portions was just right and we walked out feeling very satisfied. I must make special mention of our waiter Theodore who was really good. We ordered the menu and thought it was good value for money. The special Bloody Mary cocktail was the best I've had. The atmosphere of this place made the visit worth it all by itself. Their food was a great play between flavors and textures. Their virgin Plum cocktail was one of the best I have had in a long time. If you only had 1 night in Gothenburg, come here.

I had really high expectations for this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. I found the restaurant on the Michelin Guide app listed as 'Bib Gourmand' (Inspector's favorites for good value). Familjen far exceeded that. The food was excellent, and the friendly service was the best we've had since coming to Europe. I highly recommend a stop here! Nice restaurant, I like the atmosphere and the service there is really good. The quality of food is amazing and the dessert is good. We reserved the table and the food in advance. The best parking spot is 5 minutes walk from the restaurant.
