Nice Hotel, it is a very old building but it feels fine. Pretty friendly owners/ employees. The rooms are not luxurious but basic but clean and tidy. All in all a good hotel to stay overnight. We did not use the bar outside but it looked inviting.
absolutely incorrect behavior!! One day we booked a room, the next day we were told that we were out of luck. At the same time, we were already on a long journey to Slovenia. When asked how this is possible, they replied that it is spam. They did not try to solve the situation at all. We have never experienced such disgusting behavior. We cannot recommend the hotel!!!

I stayed there a few days. The room was clean and pretty comfortable. The breakfast is ok, but you don't have many options. But Friday night was terrible. Under our rooms is Club Sporn, of which we were not told. It was a party that lasted for hours, till 3 or 4 in the morning and I couldn't sleep because of the loud music. Good thing it was our last night there but taking into account that we were going to drive for 17 hours it was a terrible experience, that's why I'll give just one star. I hope that the future clients will be told about the loud ,,environment". It's all about the respect of the clients, but I guess when it's about money, the respect doesn't matter anymore.
In one fancy location, hotel, restaurant and one bar...pretty cool waiter, he accepted me at tabe, despite his serious apparel, at the time the kitchen was closing....highly recommended!!!
Nothing to complain or talk bad about this place. First of all, the receptionist waited for us till midnight, as traffic slowed us down from Italy travelling towards Slovenia, he was extremely kind. |They have nice inside parking lot, the rooms are very tidy, neat and comfy. The heating was welcomed, minibar, Internet, satellite TV are standard in their rooms. Breakfast is served bouffet like, (all you can eat), if you want they can also cook something else that is not on the bouffet. |Price was good. I don't regret booking the night here. |Strongly recommend this place even if you are just passing by and not stopping in Slovenia.
I had a business dinner in the Šporn restaurant. The food was decent, but the service was bizarre for this class of restaurant. The waiter dropped the knife and steak sauce on my lap, stains all over my trousers. He briefly apologised, but didn’t offer anything in compensation or otherwise. No new napkin (it was clear I used the first one to scoop up dollops of the steak sauce) was brought, no offer to clean, no free dishes, no discount. To date I haven’t experienced anything like it in any restaurant where I spent around €50 per person! I don’t like to write bad reviews, but this is quite something.
Had an evening meal here with a colleague and I had one of the best steak I have had. Good service good prices and would definitely recommend the restaurant. Basic breakfast but good and if eggs are required they are cooked to order.||Hotel rooms a little basic and the bathroom shower you have to hold the shower head.
This hotel is very well located. The restaurant and its food are amazing. Our waiter was so nice and his choices were perfect (wines, food). Warm thanks to him! Snow was here but fireplaces also! A very nice evening even if it was for professionnal reason!
This is not the first time I have stayed at Hotel Sporn, after all these years not much has changed.|Airconditioning has been installed in the rooms, but the hospitality, the food, the people are still the same.|I stayed 2 nights and had a late lunch on the second day, fantastic food for even better prices.|Don’t let the low prices put you off, you get a lot for your money.|The only this is, the restaurant is closed on Sunday.
