Great restaurant on the quayside. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Good selection on the menu, mainly local Norwegian food. Staff are friendly and efficient. You need to book. I had fish soup, reindeer steak, and chocolate brownie.

A warm welcoming space featuring hearty dishes such as a stew, soup, and burger. The menu is small but with enough variety to please most. Likewise for the beer and wine menu, and the dessert cart. The dishes were tasty but not particularly memorable. Service was polite and prompt. Conveniently located adjacent to multiple shops and other businesses. Recommended.

Amazing meal in a nice restaurant right on the water. The menu is primarily focused on a few great seafood dishes, but there are also burgers, and even a vegan curry dish. And it is not everyday that you see whale and reindeer on the menu. The catch of the day (halibut) was amazing, and so were the reindeer burgers with large crispy potatoes. The service at our table was stellar, but the initial encounter when we first came in was a bit cold. The prices are not cheap, but it's Tromsø, and on the water, so expected.

Must visit in Tromsø! I ate the house recommended menu, at start it included fish soup (catch of the day (Pollock)) Soup was very smooth and good. I ordered extra starter smoked whale (just for the experience) was very fatty nearly like bear salami.
Main course was Steak of reindeer, even that I'm from Finland had to say this was best prepared reindeer so far 5/5.
Dessert was Gateau Marcel, little bit too big but awesome.
Be sure that you book the restaurant after 17.00 since there is not mentions anywhere that you have only lunch menu at 11.00-17.00 and ala carte starting after 17.00 - - >

Small menu but done well. Spacious restaurant that is connected to 2 other restaurants. Love their British style Fish & Chips. The Reinbeer Burger was nice but maybe a bit gamey for some people. There's a big aquarium there housing cold water fish.

What a wonderful experience, the whale steak was so flavorful and extremely tender it’s hard to describe and it wasn’t even my first time having whale meat!!
Location is great also, you can enjoy your delicious meal with the beautiful view of the fjord on the background!

I really enjoy my dinner from there, food and dessert taste very nice I love it. Staff does speak English so I would recommend to try out food from this restaurant yourself if you visiting Tromso.

What a lovely place! We had the Angusburger and the Fish & Chips for lunch. Well, one of the best burgers and one of the best fish and chips ever. Lovely staff, nice location and really good food. I don’t understand bad ratings for this restaurant.
