We LOVED this restaurant so much, we had to come back for a second dinner a few days later. Everything we tried was spectacular with the most authentic flavors we have ever tasted. My favourites were the Enchiladas with red sauce, fried quesadillas, tacos, tamales, and burrito. All fresh, flavorful, large portions, and great prices compared to other places we tried. We stopped in this beautiful seaport during our holiday cruise and chose to just wander the streets. We walked by Anys and were immediately captured by the quaint atmosphere. After strolling around, we decided to return to Anys for lunch. The staff sat our party of 5 immediately and provided the menus in English. We ordered the queso fundido to share and it came with fresh flour tortillas - absolutely the best queso fundido I've ever had. We each ordered something different off the menu and greatly enjoyed every delicious bite. The staff were extremely friendly and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you're craving Authentic Pozole this is the place for you. Their variety of Pozoles are the talk of the town. Very spacious, good seating on this corner location in Zihuatanejo. Our server was kind enough to show us the size portions so we didn't over do it but we did anyway because it's sooooo good. As a little surprise we were given a shot of Mezcal to wash down our food with. Great prices, great food & I highly recommend. Excellent menu with plenty of pictures of the food for us tourists, everything was delicious from the fish tacos to the fajitas. The homemade guacamole was the best I've had. Service was quick and the beer was served with ice cold mugs. Washrooms were clean and most of all they actually had toilet paper. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place was recommended to us by the hotel. The service was super friendly and attentive. A mix of locals and foreigners stopping in. Huge servings for good price. Gorgeous colorful decor. Now to the one star lost. 1. The muzak of 80s pop kinda ruined the mood. At least Latin 80s would have been better. But Careless Whisper was not what I expected. 2. My chicken consome was pretty bland and the tacos de cabeza had too much fat and gristle. The tortillas were also not the most flavorful compared to other places. Really enjoyed the pozoles verde. Also ordered queso fondido with chorizo, excellent. Some chips and salsa were served and the mole sauce that came with them was fantastic.
