We went for my birthday a Sunday at lunch. We decided to share pasta with astice, and it was the best we ever had. We had other seafood plates, few bottles of very fine wine and desserts. Service was very good and everyone was nice. Definitely a very good experience.
I would recommend the shrimp soup, the black noodles with shrimps, courgettes and cherry tomatoes, and the blueberry mousse with mango on a tart of almonds and walnuts. The restaurant is also suitable for kids as there is space for them to run outside. The outdoor seating is nicely in the shade. The whole menu is available on their website along with the prices.
Was on a shrt trip, at the last minute, to Slovenia and could not find any resonably priced hotel by the sea. Found this as an option on Booking.com. Short drive from the sea ca 6 km, so not an issue if you have a car. ||||Set in the countryside about 6 km from Koper, 20 km from Piran. Small hotel with about 10 rooms. The rooms were really clean and "friendly" for two people (twin beds). Although the room was rather small the room had a balcony where you could sit outside if you wanted to expand your "personal" space. Lovely clean shower room. ||Wifi worked well and room had a TV too, although did not use it. ||||The main plus of the hotel was the very friendly staff and excellent food and food choices. For a small hotel they really bother about the food and its presentation. Most is locally grown so very fresh. They pay alot of attention to the food and it would be worth the trip for this experince alone.||||If you are looking for 5* facilities try elsewhere, but if you want a lovely small hotel with 5 * service and food this provides an excellent choice.
Great food great service verry friendly staff. Delicious! My girlfriend is vegetarian but she ate all the fish dishes with no problem.

Well we were there with friends for the "restaurants week" and the food was without taste and one of us ordered fish menu and one of the courses in that menu involved meat which was really weird. The waiters were really friendly and nice but the food.. Let's just say that they lost us as recurring customers.
I still give a chance that chef just had a bad day.
I haven't even finished the starter and have to write this review. We were all pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff and the very diverse and interesting menu. The fish carpaccio was prepared infront of us and we were very impressed with the professionalism (it is also the best carpaccio i ever had) They also have beer options that aren't classic and commercial. I warmly encourage you to visit.
Decent seafood restaurant and winery. They didn't have some things from the menu and it's a little bit on a pricy side. I really hate the service fee. Who does that in Slovenia?
