Came as a large group at noon and managed to get our seats relatively easily. The food was great!! Everything was fresh especially the fishes. The cheesy bee hoon is an interesting take too with it not being THAT cheesy but about just nice. Neat and clean inside. They have photos all around the walls of famous celebrities that have previously dined there. Overall great experience and will be back if I do come back to Melaka. Food was good but the price was quite high for Malaysian standards - it is definitely geared towards tourists. They do accept credit card for payment here. I love the crispy pork is super good. Unfortunately It was so delicious that I forgot to take a picture 🤣Service was extremely good too. I accidentally dropped my utensils for opening the crab the server heard that and immediately replaced a new set for me. Overall worth coming to have my lunch here. I will definitely be back again. Went with my kiddo and wife. Stumble upon here via google review and was walking distance from Hatten Hotel. Reached early and have to queue for dinner as it’s not open. Most people actually make reservations in advance. Order the famous cheesy prawn beehoon and gosh, I totally enjoyed eating this dish! Super yummy and cheese dun make the food to “jerlat”. Completely finish the whole plate! Sweet and sour pork is yummy and my 3 yo son love it. But some of the waitress there I think not local, dun really understand English or Chinese. A bit blur and dunnoe what they are doing. But still, definitely will return for the food! Did not reserve, did a walk in at 6.20. Waited till around 7.30-7.40 to order and was seated around 7.45pm. Did not go for the cheese prawn beehoon but ordered the fried rice. That is the real bomb here if you ask me. Fragrant w nice wok hei and peppered w slivers of crab meat. Crispy honey pork was alright, but I will try other items in my next visit. Worth a visit ! The queue needs to be better managed. 1. Queueing was as it is, just join the queue. There’s fan and also chair for you to sit while queuing. 2. Even after seated have to wait for a while for the food. Service is good they’ll refill your tea pot quite fast. 3. Food overall is good. I love the garlic squid. No regret ordering. The garlic prawn was also good. Very fresh prawn. The only let down was the cheesy prawn bee Hoon. Prawn doesn’t seem fresh in this dish. The green vege and tofu just so so. Speechless, there's toilet air refresher inside the dining area! We're unfortunate to sit near it as the table is allocated to us. This is unacceptable practice as it will spray onto our food every few minutes, giving us some "added value". Hope that the management will take note of this and remove it. We thought the rojak chicken was nice, at least its something different from the normal stuff you eat; the steamed otak was good too, as per Muar's otak taste that we liked.
