Absolutely the worst açaí I’ve had. By far. Over half the bowl was sliced banana. The açaí was grainy and didn’t have the smoothie texture one is accustomed to. Lame granola with no distinct flavorful touch. Also, the bowls are small and expensive. A large bowl will cost you around $20 with tax! Anyone with any culinary talent could make a 5X better bowl at home. Hard pass. Save your hard earned money. (The picture is of the bowl about half eaten) Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Maddie and Samantha were amazing and prepared my bowl really quickly. They offered amazing recommendations and even accommodated my peanut allergy. I will definitely be coming back. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–10

Found Rico’s through a Google search as we left Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens (DSBG) — we were looking for a quick and easy snack, that was not fast food. This truck is behind the “everyday market” in downtown Belmont, about 12 minutes from DSBG. The bowls were fresh made and the fruit for the rainbow bowl was delicious and plentiful. Prices are were average — based on our experiences with açaí bowls — $10-17 depending on size and flavor. A small was more than enough for two kids to enjoy. There are picnic benches/tables, but no umbrellas so we are in the car because it was very hot without shade on the tables. Overall a fine place to stop if you’re in the area. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Recommended dishes Fruit Salad

Unfortunately I read the one review that states most of the bowl is bananas and very little açaí after I went today. He wasn’t lying, had that same experience. Too much money for a bowl of sliced bananas with some Nutella and a spoonful of granola at best. Food: 1

I will start off by saying I am HARD to impress! I eat a variety of foods, BUT my dad is a high end cook and my husband was trained by him..... I stumbled upon this place visiting my parents.. 35 mins away from my house! I MAKE the trip just to get these bowls! The fruit is chopped small, FRESH and the combinations are endless with toppings! I like desserts and make them very well I might add... I would eat this over my sweets BC you are not missing anything! I wish he would park this truck in my backyard! Definitely HEAVEN in a bowl!!!! I will be back!!! We got the Butter Bro and Rainbow bowls! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Rico's Acai in Belmont is one of my new favorite places to eat. Each bowl has the Acai berries on the bottom with a granola mix, then bananas and more granola on top. The Brazil Bowl has only these ingredients, but the real magic comes out of the Rainbow Bowl which has strawberries, raspberries, mango (seasonal) pineapple, kiwi, blueberries and blackberries. There are a wide varieties of optional toppings, like Nutella or peanut butter. the Apple Bowl (pictured with Nutella) is a new addition that I can't wait to try. Both of the pictured bowls are minis... Pro tip: the fruit is always fresh and well washed, so the bowls can be refrigerated for breakfast the next day!
if you're looking for a healthy, delicious and affordable snack/meal, this is the real deal and definitely a must-try! i got the basic brazil bowl and it was absolutely delicious, blended and made fresh in front of you. top quality acai. the owner, matt, is so pleasant to talk to. it is inspiring to see his passion for good food, its all uphill from here. Great fresh fruit. Only down side was very little granola… less than a tablespoon. I am assuming they were running out of granola on a busy day, but it should have been communicated and corrected. See photo. Granola is at the bottom??

Reagan and Addison were absolutely amazing with telling me the menu and helping me pick what they thought would be best! The fruit was fresh and was made very quickly. I have been hearing about Ricos Acai for a while and this is my first chance to try. Excellent quality fruit, refreshing, and a huge portion. Very good! Would recommend highly.
