These folks saved me with their chicken soup when I was suffering from a bout of ‘turista’. Just happened upon it (a few blocks behind the Holiday Inn, where I was staying. The owner was so kind and considerate. I made it a point to return for the paella (featured on Sundays) and wasn’t disappointed! Homemade tortillas, salsas, aguafrescas (variety of flavors), wonderful soup (several varieties available daily) as well as daily specials. Very reasonable. You’ll see me often! Thank you!

Chips and salsa were a delicious start with three choices for salsa. They did make a mistake and brought my wife flour tortilla tacos despite telling them that she needs gluten free, but they looked so good that we took them anyway for me to eat. She got another order and could only finish half. I had liver because it was different and it was ok, though I prefer a different preparation. Service was pleasant though we had to use Google Translate to converse.

It's nothing really special but it's consistent. Family run we've been going there for a few years and are never disappointed. Spotlessly clean. Again, like most of my reviews, not a place if you're looking for excitement. A good meal at a reasonable price, friendly service, and clean surroundings. That's worth 5 stars to me. The best food we had in Guaymas. We stayed in San Carlos and found this place the very last day… and it made it up for all the bad food we had during the week. Some friends brought us here and i had the Borreho, it was great, not greasy at all... we came back today and had caldo de res, amazing.. family had breakfast and they loved it too

They have the best soups and corn tortillas made fresh everyday
