Ristorante Italiano is situated over the river from the Old quarter, off a side street opposite the river.
A very varied menu, we had craved a bit of Western style food, and this restaurant did not disappoint! Upon arrival, we were served complimentary vegetable soup, which was very tasty. The specials board was shown to us, which changed between our two visits.
The pizzas are great, and my partner enjoyed the beef, but undoubtedly, the star of the show is the pasta. Both of us loved the gorgonzola fettuccine. It was rich, creamy, and peppery. It was easily one of the best pasta dishes I have had outside of Italy.
Very reasonably priced, and they even had lemon cello!

Here it is Calzone Pizza with Meat, it is very yummy and soft. Oh... fist of all I got welcome delicious vegetables soup and the smiling face of the staff. if you want to find the foods that no sugar and delicious , I recommend Ristorente Italiano.

My regular go to place here in Battambang. Excellent homely prepared Italian cuisines. Owners and the team are super friendly :)
Clean and cosy ambience.
Hands down, this restaurant serves the best pizza in Battambang. And a lot of vegetarian options too.

This is my favourite place in Battambang. The owners, Ale and Ketty, put their heart and passion in what they do, and you can see it. Food is delicious, and ambient is very pleasant and homey. Staff is awesome. I can tell the food is high quality, but it's the chef that makes it good. it's just not cooked in a delicious way.. Very underwhelming. Food taste too plain and watered down almost. Then again it could feel like this because all the Khmer food has flavor enhancers like MSG in it so not used to eating real food for awhile. I will try my best to rid myself of msg and come back in the future to try the food here again. Cheers

We were a groupe of 8 and we waited 1 hrs to be served. Also they forgot 2 meals… after another 15 minutes, they bring the wrong ravioli. No excuse from the owner. Very unpleasant.

(best pizza in BTB in my opinion and i’ve tried a few) Wow this place is amazing. The owners are very sweet. We had the gonzala (spelled wrong) cheese bruschetta toast + the classic bruschetta. I would actually return just for this. it was SO good. then we had the verdure pizza.

Met a new friend at the bat cave earlier this week and it clicked. She wanted Italian for dinner and I didn't really care so her tuk-tuk driver recommended this place.
I ordered the Christmas pizza, she a salad and -I-have-no-clue-what- (toasted bread with tomatos in a nice spicy souce).
It all lookes awesome, a very good presentation (aside from the pizza - nothing much you can really do to make it stand out 🙃). And the taste... OMG! It was all so good.
Though I'd normally rarher eat local food when on holiday, if I'd ever visit Battambang again, I will grab one dinner here for sure!

So delicious! We've been here twice and everything was fresh and tasty. Homemade pasta, plenty of vegetarian options, pizza with a wafer-thin crust and a small play area for children and all at a reasonable price for this quality. We recommend!!!
