There are several people who work at this market who are completely and totally certifiable and I have no idea how they managed to get hired, because Roche Bros is a very nice market. But maybe it’s because the store manager is a complete and total horse’s backside, so he tends to hire people who are just like himself. It’s really a shame because this market carries items that you can’t find elsewhere. But, it doesn’t matter because I won’t shop here again unless there is a big turnover in both management and employees. (You know there’s a problem when even the managers are headcases…)

Roche used to be a nice (if a little expensive) place to get groceries for a family. However, their prices have become outrageous, often more than Whole Foods. The result is plainly visible — the store is almost always empty, when it used to be very busy.

Great place for high end groceries. They have premium quality products across the board. A nice new hot food self service buffet. Very wide selection of gourmet cheeses. Pretty good selection wines.

Clean well organized store, a little pricey but worth it for the atmosphere and freshness of product. Best fish department and love the butcher section. Always plenty of cashiers to speed the checkout process

I've been in this store a few times as its is about a mile from my work. I'm usually just buying something for lunch and desk snacks. I've has the sushi on my last two visits and I must say it is way better than average! Each time there was a different sushi chef and each time I grabbed a packaged roll from the display case, they were both quite good. Next time I think I will order a roll. Pricing isn't bad for Acton...

I placed an order online for pickup and didn’t notice until almost pickup time that I had accidentally placed the order at the wrong location almost an hour away. I could only do a pickup order because my household has Covid. I cancelled the order and then placed another online order with the Acton store but couldn’t get a pickup time until the next morning. I called the store figuring it was a longshot to ask if there was any way possible that they would have the order ready tonight but figured I would try. They were very understanding of my situation and had my groceries ready for pickup within the hour! I know many places have been short staffed so I appreciate the accommodation and effort they put in to help my family. I shop often at this location and will definitely continue to do so.

Readers, Tell your friends in the area: No bakery service after 6 pm. No customer service either. They go home. Store closes at 9 pm. I wanted a cake for a Birthday for today evening. Walked in at 6:40 pm.The cake was behind the glass in bakery. Since no customer service at Roche I went to the "front associates" 3 young people chatting away. I asked for bakery service. They said they did not have anybody. I asked if anybody could help me? Guy asks me 2x You want someone at bakery?? Now? They went home at 6. I ask again, they say they would page someone. A guy comes after a while to bakery I point at a cake I wanted. He says. Oh I do not know how to give it to you . And I do not know anything about any box to put it in. I go back to chatting people, tell about the clueless person they sent to me. I ask : any other idea? Guy does not even say anything just stares at me. The others smirk. .. so I am a local doctor and have been a customer since Roche opened. Quality, customer service, all had gone downhill. Really bad in last year. The store us empty, and it is clear why. I will warn all my local friends, acquaintances. We will switch.

Great place. Friendly staff. Nicely laid out. Good selection. They aren't the cheapest, but their prices are really reasonable. They always have lots of bargains too that don't require coupons, which I appreciate. I think they are a great grocery.

Roche Bros is like a convenience store than a grocery store as they are selling items at insane prices. Go to stop and shop or Market Masket to see some reasonable prices. Crowd is way less than other stores for this reason.
