Decided to try this place on a whim and was not disappointed. Had the clam chowder, tater tots poutine and hot honey salad. Food was outstanding and enjoyed how crispy the tots were. Salad was refreshing and different flavor wise. Service was fast and friendly and restaurant was clean and new looking. Great experience overall. Tried rod and rail back in September. Sorry for the delayed review. I love to try out new local restaurants and this was no exception. Really enjoyed the beer selection. Our food portions were absolutely massive and oysters were very fresh, and with freshness comes sandy ones- that was my only negative about my meal! From start to finish this experience was incredible. Each member of staff (including the kitchen staff) were very kind, and informative. What really blew me away from this experience is that you can genuinely tell that everyone cares a about what they are doing, and it shows in both the food and the service. I heard our server attentively answer questions the party next to us asked about different beers! The kitchen staff were dancing around having a good time, and that really set this experience over the top. I got the Sheppards pie and it was to die for. Everything was well seasoned, the mashed potatoes were creamy, the braised short rib was deep in flavor and the root vegetables were cooked perfectly! Loved the simple side salad too. I look forward to going back soon!

What a great spot - food and service is great. Will have to come back to post more photos - all the smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, dinners and specials, all delightful, I reccomend the tots. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fried Chicken Sandwich

Stumbled upon this bar while staying at the Hampton nearby. All I have to say is I’m bummed this place isn’t local to me! I will forever dream about the short rib tater tot poutine. Absolutely to die for. The drinks were great and I always appreciate a mocktail menu! Our waitress was great and service was fast!

So many delicious offerings on the menu! Craft beer selection is top notch, cocktail menu is thoughtfully created. Their mocktail menu also is notable for creative and tasty concoctions. Donuts on Wednesday and Friday are just an added bonus.. the warm cookie Sunday is a delish way to end your time there the other days of the week too. The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and truly create an enjoyable experience. Outside dining is so cute and their front patio is dog friendly! My husband and I sat at the bar. Allie was excellent in making sure we were not wanting for anything. Food came out quick and great portions. Food was incredible. Service was exceptional as well. Seating needs help. They have the space to improve this and actually increase profits, but for some reason blocked that off. They had a band that night and due to the space it wasn’t the best experience. I would go back for the food and service and hope they increase seating options.
