I was taken here for dinner Friday night for the first time. We were greeted and seated within a couple of minutes. Our server was very friendly, and we had drinks and food ordered in less than ten minutes.
Now understand this was a Friday evening during Lent, so it was a busy fish fry.
I can with all honestly say this was the fastest I had ever received our food once we placed our order.
And the Cod was exceptional.

The food was the best part of my experience. I felt like I was served. The server was not very friendly. He gave me my drink, served me my food, a to go box, and the check. There was No follow-up. My visit was short, and I did not stay for desert.

I can’t even say it was “just ok” the food desperately needs seasoning. The pesto was off there’s something in it that doesn’t belong in pesto.
The burger had zero flavor.
The chicken sandwich was overcooked and the kids pizza tasted like cardboard.
The potato skins were dry and flavorless.
The only redeeming factor was the meatball appetizer, although putting raw lettuce under meatballs and gravy is strange and unnecessary.

It looks very busy from the outside. But when I entered, it didn't appear to be overly crowded. The food was amazing. Temperature, timely taste was perfect. The Host And wait staff. we're very attentive. The owner stopped by the table to check how my meal was. The atmosphere was great. I would go here every day if I could. 5☆ for sure!

The food was very tasty. The Reuben and the pulled pork are 2 that we recommend. Very polite waiter. However he gave me a High Life, but I ordered a Miller Lite. Haha. I enjoyed the High Life so I ordered another.

The fish was great, but the chicken and fries were cold. I mean, the fries were like if they were set outside. Chicken was like luke warm if that. Almost there with the fries.
This is unfortunate, for I moved out of Wisconsin 5 years ago and haven't had one and was looking forward to it!

This place is a hidden 💎 Food is excellent, atmosphere,music is bright and home town feel. The bartender was the only one working the area, and the place was packed. He kept up with orders and beverages. Let's talk about the food......it's was soooo good and prices were good. I had the prime rib strips with ranch mash, and the gravy was a nice thickness. I asked for more gravy and no issue. People are friendly and casual attire. Oh and the barbecue chicken and ribs unlimited is excellent. The ribs are fall off the bone. Others had Pulled pork macaroni and cheese, and it's a huge portion, but the guys ate it all.

Dinner stop on our way to MN. This place was PACKED!!! Menu is thorough and everything was delicious. I had a fish fry special of the day, the kiddo got the grill cheese, and Allison had Swedish meatballs. New Glaris and Rhinegeist on tap is a plus. As someone who loves a decent portion size, my plate was more than enough. This is a road trip review, so if you are passing through, I give it my 2 thumbs up.
