We loved coming to Rookies ever since we moved to St. Charles 3 years ago. We went back after not going since October and the prices are astronomical and the food was actually really bad. I am so sad to say, but we won't be returning. We typically would spend $60 for 2 people for about an hour and a half of bar service, and this time it was $90 for 2 people, bought less than we normally do and our food sincerely tasted like burger king and flavorless tacos. It was just really sad, all of our favorite things were removed from the menu. Sincerely, you cannot have expensive burgers like that for the quality that they are, it's not acceptable. I will say our server was surprised when we did not take our left overs and wished I had told her before checking us out. I don't wish to ruin your business by returning my food, but I wish I had. Service is a hit or miss. Not sure if it's just me but every time there's a game on a Sunday and the place is packed, the service is actually good and attentive. But if you stay past the game and the next shift comes on, you would think the service would be better but unfortunately not. Either way, servers are always pleasant, and the food is consistent. Service was great; our server was very attentive and sweet. The boneless wings, delicious. The flavor wasn't extreme and over done, they were just right; garlic parm and mango hob! The female server acted like me a my female friend were not even there. More interested in paying attention to the men. Glad I'm the one who paid and left 1.00 tip. I'm normally a 50% tipper at a bar. Improve your service for female customers. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We come here all the time. Love the daily food specials and many other menu options, all reasonably priced. The Manager Mike is always welcoming, and service is good considering how busy they can get sometimes, that alone should tell you it’s a popular place. . No shortage of TV’s here that’s for sure! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place rocks for watching football games during the season. My son and I have been there a bunch of times since the season started and it is always a fun time. Really good mix of fans and everybody is having a great time. Great drink and food specials on game days. Service is top notch, even when it is packed.
