I'm giving Rose Garden a five star because it was exactly what I wanted. Small, quaint place where I can have a conversation with my lady. No frills or pretentious atmosphere, just a chill place to have a beer and hang out.

This is the best bar in Houston, bar none. Only bring people you'd be comfortable bringing to Sunday dinner at your parents' house. Rose suffers no fools. She is a treasure.

It is a quaint old fashioned place studded with Elvis memorabilia from a different time and there is also a pool table, but it feels more like entering into somebody's living room possibly because the owner is so nice and welcoming.
Outside, there is a raised and covered area surrounded by actual rose bushes and they are blooming at this time so we were litterally sitting in a rose garden.
The Rose Garden is the place to go if you are tired of trendy noisy bars and you want to try something different.

I love this bar.. My rose is the real women that ever women should be....I love you rose.. you make me feel like Jack Dawson.
