This is basically just Manwich. All sauce. The type of meat in it is meaningless. (It was pulled pork btw) For all I know, this came out of a can. Why serve something that's indistinguishable from something you can get off the grocery store shelf? The mac and cheese was ok. Food: 1

The only brisket worse than this is the several I've tried to make. Brisket was dry and barely any flavor. That said. The Mac and cheese is amazing, i hate greens but loved the interesting flavors of the turnip greens. I tried all bbq sauces and they were all great! Maybe I got them on an off day. We ordered three pounds spareribs. They were dry and tasteless. The meat looked really bad. Also got a sausage on a stick and received a large hot dog. Terrible. Total price was $48. Roses has the BEST food! The corn nuggets and iced tea are my favorites. I rarely drive by and not stop. Everything here is delicious! This place is always packed, and the food is very fresh. Food is always tasty, and Rose's is a good place to stop for a quick BBQ fix. This visit my brisket was a little dry, but still really good and the smoked chicken wings were perfect and really tasty. Their loaded potato salad is a must try in my opinion, promise you won't be disappointed.

Five stars isn't enough for this little local place. The food was so good I was glad my sweet mother wasn't around. I can honestly say this place is slap ya momma good. Will be coming back tomorrow for our last lunch in Hattiesburg. Will definitely be coming back when we're in the area. Service was really good. Love the place look(very nostalgic). The brisket was amazing if you the one with the fat on it. The potato logs were alright and the ribs were tender but lacked in flavor.
