Great place to come across, quiet when walked in but got a good friendly greeting from our man on the bar. We liked the atmosphere and decor. Food came out fairly quickly and tasted great. Also some $10 cocktails before 6pm we tried a few... we enjoyed it so much we went back the next night for more food and cocktails. It was busier with the sports on screen No issues finding parking and is away from the main centre. Had an incredible dinner experience at Rotorua Social Club! 🍽️ Indulged in their mouthwatering menu and tried some of their most delectable dishes. The medium rare beef scotch fillet with garlic butter sauce was a flavor explosion, perfectly cooked and juicy. The tender pork ribs were a true delight, falling off the bone with each bite. The meatballs taco had a perfect blend of spices, creating a burst of flavors in every mouthful. The seasonal vegetables with herb butter were a fresh and vibrant addition to the meal, beautifully complementing the rich flavors of the meats. The garden salad was crisp and refreshing, providing a lovely contrast to the savory dishes. We washed down our meal with their house brew Pilsner and cider. 🍻🍎 The Pilsner is crisp and refreshing, while the cider is bursting with fruity goodness. Saving the best for last, the custard pudding with anglaise sauce and velvety vanilla ice cream was a divine finale. The creamy custard was heavenly, and the sauce added a subtle sweetness. The combination with the cool vanilla ice cream was a match made in dessert heaven. Overall, the dining experience at Rotorua Social Club was a true feast for the senses. This place was a huge disappointment. Would not recommend eating here. Started with my husband and I being seated incorrectly so we had to move. Entree took over 30mins (not exaggerating) after placing order. Working in hospo we know that it doesn't take that long to cook a small plate of calamari and some fried chicken bites. When Entrees finally came out my husband was informed that the main he had ordered wasn't available. This was 40mins after he placed it. When mains came out the lamb was piping hot but the mash potato and broccoli was cold. Looked like mush on a plate. Husbands burger was just on average, but food very over priced for what you got. No water on table so we had to ask for it. Only good thing was the cocktails which were amazing. If your looking for amazing cocktails then you've got the right place but you could find better food and service somewhere else. Oh but there were also little bugs everywhere and dead ones on window where we were. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Absolutely loved the Social Club! Wish we had come here sooner on our 4 day holiday in Rotorua! We would have gladly returned every night for dinner 🥰 Bar lady and waitress were soo lovely and very content in looking after us, my boys and I felt very comfortable and we loved all of the delicious food presented to us A+! Amazing staff our server was lovely and really funky style in the restaurant. I felt their breakfast menu wasn't very extensive - the only meal we had tried here however other than that service and experience was good.
