Decent selection of craft beers served deliciously cold. Staff were friendly and engaging, and the food was superb (the pizza was huge and the chicken salad was so tasty). Well priced and a nice location in the cute little town of Montagu. Would definitely recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had a gin tasting. Very nice gins and tonics. The waiter was friendly and very speedy. I loved the calmness and peaceful environment. Inexpensive and must do experience. Price per person R 200–250 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Beer Tasting

Can't comment on their food as we didnt have but the service was good and their signature hazelnut chocolate beer was a must try when in the area. We will be back!

The most amazing staff. Hilarious, so so kind and a joy to be around. Brilliant service. Make sure you stop here! They are a joy to this place! Beers and gin delicious also. Good place to watch some sport and have a good chat with people in a fab historic spot. Love from London, UK

Great selection of craft beers and even for tasting. Cozy little establishment with friendly staff and a feel of local hospitality! Definitely worth a visit if you are at Montagu

Nice addition to Montagu. Good location/setting and the beer is pretty good as well. Personally though, I would prefer to rather not being served by children. No offence intended. Next time, I will bring friends along and definitely try something off their menu as well. Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We experienced break in the second night of our stay and were very traumatized. They need security. We couldn't rich anyone for emergency. The police also took their own time. Never again, Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Went here for waffles with my friends for waffles. We sat outside, beautiful shade protecting us from the heat. The few times we have been there the manger has been kind to us, even going as far as showing us where the beer is made and telling us about each brew. (Most of the beer is flavored which might not be everyone’s preference) The savory waffle though having my doubts about them is my favorite kind of waffle in this place. The plain ice cream waffles have 4 big scopes of ice cream and are big. (The people we were with couldn’t finish their waffles, I would suggest that less ice cream is served in future.) We had a “crunch waffle” though being R25 more that the plain waffle this had no difference to it, other than a broken up crunchy chocolate at the top, which I was a bit upset by. Otherwise the staff are friendly, the owner is nice and welcoming and the beer is a success in my eyes.
