This was my first time to eat here. I had a great experience. The place is small but fits many. Food was delicious. The building is older but the place is clean with clean restrooms as well. Staff was friendly and efficient. Restaurant was extremely busy but service was excellent everything came out quickly and fresh. I will definitely be back! Stopped by for breakfast. Ordered steak and eggs. Place was small and busy. Place isn’t the cleanest around. Waited about 20 minutes for my food to arrive. Service was good. Steak was decent as well as the eggs. Hash brown was not good. It was over cooked and hardened. Coffee was average. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Roxie’s diner was a hit! The food was hot, tasty and the biscuits didn’t disappoint! The staff were hustling as it was very busy but they were still friendly and kept the coffee cups topped off! Only in Texas can you find strangers talking outside like old friends! Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Excellent place to grab a bite to eat. The staff were extremely friendly and the diner had an “at home” atmosphere. Roxie is amazing and treats her customers as if they are long time friends. We were there the morning of my daughter’s wedding and she made it very special for all of us! I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in San Angelo! 9.99 for chicken fried steak. It was tiny and dry! The gravy tasted sour and a couple table spoons of mashed potatoes. Plus they forgot the green beans. Staff and service was great. Every other time the food was great. So we were disappointed. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The waitress was good food was just okay. I’m not sure if it was the owner but the tall dark headed woman was rude. We got the free breakfast bc we stayed at the hotel. I did get a biscuit (3.50) instead of toast got an extra piece of ham (5.50) because I didn’t know it was in the (cheese) omelette. And we got extra bacon not sure the up charge for that oh and my husband got a regular cup of coffee (2.49). Our free breakfast with the extras $17.?? Almost $18 for a free breakfast. I stayed at the hotel next door and used the breakfast coupon. I was so excited when I sat at the counter for my coffee...then they handed me a small styro-foam cup. The guy next to me started to laugh as we both thought it was a joke. Nope ! I said to the waitress, I'm not homeless - I have cash to tip you. How about a real coffee cup. She did so begrudgingly. Breakfast came out freshly served on a paper plate. It was hilarious. This place is a dirty dump! Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
