Rustic Ranch Restaurant has such a charming ambiance, perfect for enjoying a relaxing evening with friends and family. While their commitment to offering a variety of options is commendable, I couldn't agree more that their sweet potato fries upgrade is a delightful indulgence, but I definitely don't think its worth a $3.99 upcharge on a kids meal - yikes. And though their menu might benefit from some enhancements (quality of meats, etc), the ambiance, excellent service, drinks, and live music make it a solid choice for an enjoyable night out, earning them a respectable 3.5 stars in my book!

Chicken Fried Chicken
Amazing!! Great service, food and overall appearance of the restaurant. The deep fried green beans were a great way to start off the meal. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and my husband had the John Wayne burger. Both tasted amazing! I definitely recommend this place.

Burgers were good. It’s a bit above average when it comes to the beef but a good burger all depends on how you like it prepared. They have plenty of fixings to your liking. Fries are just simple fries. However, the waitress was on point and the service was outstanding. The evening we went the atmosphere was a bit dull, but I could see that it could get a bit rowdy during peak hours. No alcohol but you’re allowed to BYOB. Big plus in my book. Outdoor sitting available. The building is very country. Western with a country western theme. Overall I did like the place. I will go back.

Bacon Cheese Burger
We went as a big party after our baseball game and they were quick to accommodate our big group. They moved tables and chairs to fit us and the server we had was very good. The food was great too. This place is a must for anyone who is in Weslaco and hungry.
