Great place to go for hibachi. Food is very delicious and cooked well. Environment is friendly and service it pretty good. Only issue is that the menu can be kind of confusing when you are trying to order from online. A suggestion would be to have a more descriptive menu option of what a 'dinner' item would be instead of having to sift through all of the hibachi dinner options. Went on a sleepy Sunday afternoon and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. Staff was friendly but the restaurant itself looked a bit run-down. Most amazingly were the menus which I did not want to even touch. Added a few pictures to show what I'm talking about. The dirt and grime is so heavy, it has worn away text and you could probably use a nail to scrub off the dirt that was stuck to it. In stark contrast to the prices of some of the dishes, this was enough to turn me off. I ordered the avocado sushi which was ok, and we also had a few other sushi selections that were equally mediocre. The standout was the steak my wife got with rice and noodles. I don't know what that was called but it was easily the best of our selections. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

Even though they don’t take reservations, Sakura accommodated our large group (30+) on a weeknight with excellent service! We started off the meal with sake bombs, crab rangoons, and egg rolls- all of which were great! For my entree, I chose the shrimp, salmon, and chicken. All of the meats, along with the noodles and rice, were cooked perfectly by a talented chef! This experience put a good taste in my mouth (both literally and figuratively) about hibachi style dining! My boyfriend and I called to see if we had to do reservations. A woman answered and said “no it’s first come first serve”. Which is understandable but just to make sure we asked even if it’s for hibachi. She get really annoyed with us said “FIRST COME FIRST SERVE” and hung up on us. Safe to say we aren’t going. I understand that it might be hard during Valentine’s Day but we were genuinely asking because every place is different. I think they should make sure the person who is answering calls is not like this. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I'd like to start this out by saying I'm a huge fan of Asian food. I have heard about this place for years and the family and I finally had it last weekend, the food was good but by the time we got our plate made up most of it was cold. The service and the atmosphere was the best part. The chef did put on a good show but he was hard to understand. I'll just go to hu hot next time. We(2) arrived at 4:26 on a Sunday. We were seated quickly by a kind greeter. However, we found ourselves picking up and leaving after nearly 15mins with no contact from any server and no sign of anyone coming. I don't mind waiting, but figured we had simply been forgotten as I watched another table of 2 be seated and quickly greeted and served. I hadn't been here in a few years and had loved the food in the past, I was so excited for the food. Yet we didn't even get the chance to eat. Definitely disappointed. A nice place for dinner but not worth the money, whilst the food was good, it was not the best in the area. A massive concern was the cross contamination of seafood with regular food, the chef or wait staff should ask if anyone has seafood allergies especially when we did not hear the other parties at the table order to know they had seafood. That kind of neglecience will get someone killed. Further more our waiter simply took our order and brought us our drinks and then from that point on we had to get up from the table and go find staff to get anything. The only saving grace of our dining experience was the amazing chef ! He was had excellent showmanship and when our waiter had failed to take our orders right he quickly fixed the problem. Also cup size for the soft drinks were small at $3 a drink for maybe 8oz and considering the waiter didn't refill any of our drink and by the time we got our food the entire grill all needed refills I was less than amused.
