Love it here so much! Their shrimp is amazing as well as the vegetables and rice and yum yum sauce is top tier!! The chefs are amazing although I’d like more than one drink after paying 30+ dollars for a meal, I only drink water and most servers take you’re order, bring you soup and salad and then one drink the whole time! But food is amazing and a very unique place to go for dinner. Worth the pricy dishes !!!!!!!!!! Also have had my birthday here for the past 7 years !! My family has been going since I was in diapers! The owner is sweet and the wait times are long after 6 pm on weekends but unlike most restaurants, the tables clear pretty quick when the chefs are quick ! My fiance took me here for my birthday as I've never been to a hibachi steakhouse. It was a great time! Our entire family loved the presentation from the chef. The food was excellent as well for what it was. I did feel like it was a bit too pricey though. I get that you're also paying for the experience, but even so it was slightly too much. For two adult and two children's entrees it was nearly $160 after the tip. First time checking out Sakura for a birthday and it wasn't bad. The chef was nice and interacted with the group. The service was good and I liked the atmosphere. The food was good and cooked perfectly but nothing special in terms of flavor. Went here for the first time for my anniversary, the food was good and service was polite, however I ordered a side of 10 scallops for me and my fiancé to split and the cook gave 5 scallops to the wrong person. So I mentioned it to the waitress and she told me that they give out 5 per person and someone else ordered scallops as well, but I don’t remembering ordering scallops for the whole table. Yes I’m still salty bout it. I went out to buy my own scallops and made an at home dinner and rocked them scallops out of the park with some garlic butter and some wine. Did not make my order right could’ve worked with me and cut the price in half. I watched them give it to the wrong person what am I supposed to do make a scene about it? I went to this restaurant today, spoke with the waitress about ordering the shrimp. As a pescatarian, I wanted to communicate CLEARLY I would like shrimp. The waitress wrote this down and we had no problems. The food comes, she gives me a plate with chicken. I said this is chicken, I ordered shrimp. She proceeded to insinuate it was “her bad” and that I should just take the chicken dish. When I refused, the fish came out thirty minutes later- thrown together with chicken and shrimp on the plate. If this place is this blunt with displaying their cross contamination- what else are they hiding? Beware and go somewhere else. Sakura was a great birthday dinner. I had a green dragon to drink, filet mignon and chicken for a main course, and steamed rice with vegetables on the side. The service was incredible, the food was cooked and seasoned perfectly, and the drink complimented the meal just right. If you're looking for dinner with a show, this a great experience.
