It’s a surprise pleasure to find out this place. The entrance was a bit hidden adding to the cool factor of the restaurant. Once enter it feels like you just stepping back in time to an eccentric jazz bar. The decor and vibe was on point. The owner and staff were very nice and friendly. Food was very good. We had the original burger and a the duck leg confit. Both were delicious and cooked very well. We also had the crème brûlée and rum baba for the dessert. They were both very good, the only feedback to be the rum baba was a bit heavy on the rum that took over the sponge cake and can make it a bit bitter and spicy. Overall we had a great time here. We have eaten here three times in 6 days, it's so good! We have been travelling Asia for 4 months and really fancied home cooked food, so glad we found Samons. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the owner on both occasions greeted us and checked food was ok. The staff explained on the 2nd visit that the meal would take 30mins which was fine with us, great communication. First visit we shared a pizza and garlic bread and 2nd visit we ordered a cheese and bacon burger and chicken cordon blu both with the rosemary potatoes and 3rd time my husband ordered the burger and I had the spaghetti meatballs. Food taste amazing, cooked to order and large portions. Little difficult to find on the main road but look out for the 24hr family mart shop, Samons is next door. One secret little place you have to find ! Western style dish restaurant with a great selection of past, pizza, burger... Atipic and really minded décor that bring you a Jazzy blue coccunt with a lovely punky owner and friendly staff From the 3 mini burgers to the minute home made gnocchi, passing true taste full pasta (huge portion!) the menu is a succession of flavor. A little secret restaurant Gem in the north part of samui. I got introduced to this spot a few years ago and happy the lovely french chef and owner had economically survived the pandemic so that we all can still enjoy the best pizza and western food on this magical island. The most righteous and right-on spot on Samui. Proper soul food soundtracked by the cool blues of Howlin Wolf and Lemon Jefferson in a restaurant with a rock and roll attitude. Wicked attention to detail in the decor of the dining room and really really delicious food. This is a real food & drink joint. Chef must have made a pact with the devil at the crossroads: the burgers, the pork mignon, the vegetarian pasta and the Irish coffee were all damn fine! Cheers to Samons - you got a great place.
