UPDATE: A few weeks after the hotel owner promised us they would fix the wrong charges, we still didn't get the correct refund. We reached out and didn't hear back. Their claimed commitment to continue improving was just pure lip service. We are now pursuing refund through filing about fraudulent behavior to our credit card companies.

Food is average taste and slightly pricey (one egg for $6 and one toast for $10). Service is friendly (kudos to the one person who ran the whole place - like the other posts said, the hotel owners understaffed the whole restaurant and when reviews pointed out the understaffing situation, they proudly admitted it) but also slow (as one person for a huge restaurant is really not realistic). They may assign charges to the wrong rooms (and when you want to figure out why and fix the charges, the hotel staff would be super rude and assign blame to guests instead of owning the mistake) - so you may want to just pay with credit cards/cash. The hotel owners/managers don't treat their own people nor guests respectfully.
Overall unless you have no option, avoid the restaurant.

Service was great. Food was lacking heavily. Just get a coffee or a mimosa whenever I go now. The food has to change if I’m to order again

Kind of a hidden place but the food is excellent the quality is amazing prices are reasonable beer is a little bit expensive and the people that work there are amazing. The red-headed bartender I forgot her name was there yesterday was an amazing and special and awesome just such a sweet person to talk to from now on when I go up to that town which I do frequently I'm staying next door at the hotel which is attached
