I ordered the steamer clams and wow! They were delicious! I even finished off the garlic broth they were served in, with the help of the toasted bread that accompanied the appetizer. I visited during the late afternoon, prior to the dinner crowd arriving. It was a beautiful sunny day and had views of the beach. Great atmosphere, great food, great service. We were really impressed by all of that. I would definitely recommend eating here and using the binoculars! The desssets were amazing btw! My husband and I went to breakfast here, after staying in the hotel. I was sorely disappointed. Best Western usually has pretty good breakfasts, this restaurant did not. The menu is definitely different, and I’m down for trying anything. But the omelette was dry, and didn’t have much flavor. The cheese inside was actually good and creamy but only in the first half, the second was just egg( I got the 3 cheese ) The potatoes were also over cooked, but did have good seasoning. I asked for sour cream to help choke the potatoes down- they don’t have any so unfortunately they were left in eaten. The server never asked if we wanted any more water, coffee or how our food was. We had an excellent breakfast here with a beautiful view of the ocean. The Dungeness crab, Gouda and wild mushroom omelette was a nice surprise and we enjoyed the marionberry and goat cheese pancakes too. Our waitress was so nice and friendly. We ordered room service and it was so amazing!! Both the person on the phone and the person who brought it to us were so kind! The food was so amazing!! We ordered the Mary's chicken it was cooked to perfection and had great flavor! We also order the chicken strips and fries which were probably the best we've ever had! The food is pricey but so worth it. Get a table outside of you can, it is so beautiful. But seriously back to the food. The salmon is better than any other "upscale" restaurant I've been to. The potatoes we perfect, and the house made bread and butter is outstanding. The wine was amazing, I got the Stroller 2021 Pinot noir Rose and it was fantastic for $10 a glass. And this it at a freaking Best Western. Only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because realistically, for an upscale bistro/lounge, the staff could've put a little effort into their appearance (literally wearing sweats and sneakers) and some of the other customers came in sweat pants or actual pajamas, so you may feel a bit over dressed if you get fancied up. Beautiful view, great food and service.. The fire pit is a very nice touch, friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant is located downstairs in the best western, I would recommend parking up on top and taking the sky bridge across to the elevator. The food....crab fondue-it! The Reuben, worth every penny! Halibut fish and chips yes!! Now if you are a cocktail sauce fan that is something you will not find here though, they did have malt vinegar which I was good with, but if no cocktail sauce is a make or break, there are plenty of other absolutely wonderful and tantalizing items on the menu that should satisfy the picky eater in your group. Staff are so warm and welcoming. The restaurant/bar is warm and comfortable with amazing views. We ordered the cioppinno which was loaded with seafood and an incredible broth. Surprisingly good burger and fries at the bistro. Nice setting with ocean view and mellow atmosphere perfect for a bite, cocktail, and conversation. 2023 update: I've enjoyed dinner here many times now and it's always good and the servers are wonderful.
