The restaurant has a good interior setup and seating is available either inside or outside right in-front of the lagoon. There do has a big menu to choose from. The prices are reasonable.
We had some starters - crispy chicken/ fried calamari/ wedges which were quite big portions and tasted well.
The mains were quite good as well - fried rice/Thai rice/sizzling chicken and cashew prawns.
The drinks on the other had was a let down. Most of us had juice and it was tooo sweet.
In terms of the service, the staff was helpful in giving recommendations.
All in all good experience and worth a try.

Nice place with tasty food, though the servings took time to arrive was worth the wait. Just too much lime in the long island cocktail, but overall everything was up to the detail and was a nice experience. Next time it'll be cool to lunch near the pool outside 🤩

One of the best restaurants in negombo. Fresh seafood and very well prepared meals. The presentation of the meals were good and the dishes were yummy. Menu was reasonably priced.
Went to this restaurant to celebrate my mother’s birthday, the staff was really helpful and arranged us everything for the cake cutting, offered us a free sparkling candle and the live band played the Happy Birthday song for us.
We felt a very warm gesture from the employees. Hats off for their effort and a awesome service.
The best thing about this restaurant is that it’s corkage free for hard liquor and that they don’t add service charge.
This place is a highly recommended for a decent meal.
We had Dinner at the Seafood Club on 04.02.24.
It seems like the Hotel is closed, the passage to the Restaurant is a little bit strange.
But once you reach the place, you can sit outside with view over the Negombo Lagoon (which at night is not very special),with sand under your feet so it feels like beach.
Service was making an effort an very friendly, still the drinks took a very long time...as mostly in Sri Lanka.
The food though was on point, the fried fish hat ready tartare sauce with it. Fried Rice delicious and the chicken one of the best we tried in Sri Lanka.
Recommend to dine at the Seafood Club.

Went there after reopening. Mango and Peach Harmony was a harmonious mocktail. As starters we selected fried calamari which was mouth watering. As mains we bought one of their combination platters: seafood basket with French fries which was like French fries was bit over fried but calamari and crab were in average level. There wqs one crumb fried fish item which was delicious but in that also French fries was bit over fried. Egg fried rice was in average level. Worth for price. Hope to experience the rest in next time. Love the mango and Peach Harmony 🍹.
Staff is very attentive and supportive all the time. Helped us to select the menu items. Recommend this place.

The food is average of standard but the Chili Crab that I ordered is HORRIBLE. The worst crab I had ever eaten in Sri Lanka. They battered & deep fried the crab before cooking with the sauce which totally destroyed the freshness and texture of the crab meat. The end result of crabmeat was hard & shrunken without any sweetness of natural crabmeat. The Tom Yum seafood soup was too sweet either without proper punch of Tom Yum. The creamy tiger prawn taste ok but the size of the prawn is disappointing with the price of 3800 per portion. I wouldn't recommend coming here to try the food.

The grilled mix meat platter we ordered was unfortunately quite underwhelming. Despite expecting enough for two people, the portion size was small. Also, it arrived lukewarm and lacked the flavorful taste we were hoping for. At LKR 5900, it didn't match the value we anticipated.

Nice cocktails ,sea food dishes and a final touch with delicious desserts.... Indoor and outdoor dining tables are available....I prefer outdoor dining....😍
Nice staff and atmosphere, the Scallop most expensive was very fresh and delicious, king prawns were okay, crab was bad, we only order the steam one so it need to be fresh but it wasnt.
I did feedback to the manager but he seems not understand so i need to write it down and then explain to the staff how it's different (show the staff the real fresh crab should look like).
Price is ok, not expensive with that environment
One more minus point is the location marker, they should mark at in front of Grandeeza hotel. Current location if you went by uber or tuktuk with Google map suggestion, it will bring you to wrong location the need to ask the people and walk back a bit. Feeling like they only care the customer from the hotel than outside.
I had the seafood grilled platter and the seafood fried basket. The seafood was tasty and fresh but not warm when it was served. Food can take some time. Live band was good. Lots of alcoholic beverages to choose from. Overlooking the sea, which was beautiful.
