The food is always cooked fresh and delicious and made to order, REAL homemade comfort food.Hot and never warm. The service is top tier all the time and always respectful and you always get sharable portions for your money. Their desserts is extremely delicious and their specialty cheesecakes and cakes is one of a kind. Highly recommended 👌 👍

I don't leave a lot of reviews but I had to leave a review for this restaurant. My family and I had the best meal ever from this establishment. We ordered their salmon cheese steak which was absolutely amazing. We ordered their lobster cheese steak. We also ordered their fish tacos and chicken fingers with the side of mac and cheese and greens and I can just tell you that everything was so flavorful. Everything was so good. We will definitely be returning to this establishment.
My husband and I was surprised to learn that this place has only been open for 7 months. We're definitely looking forward to enjoying their food again, and we can definitely see an expansion in this restaurant's future, hopefully with a dine in section.

Bring your friends then tell their friends about shelpots, she do not play about her food! everything was good I mean good for the soul Greens, and the sweet potatoes,,mmmmm, baked Mac & cheese, fried salmon over rice, and the shrimp...sheesh..everything was perfect even the pistachio cheesecake! I'm coming back again and again wherever your at Shell I'm coming and I told all my friends.

Wanted to like this place. Came at a very high recommendation from a friend of my wife. Got the turkey wings/ white rice and gravy. Gravy and rice were decent. Turkey wings were super dry and either old or overcooked. Added seafood salad as a side (which has an upcharge they didn't mention until after I'd already paid for our food) along with cornbread stuffing. Meh. Seafood salad was macaroni salad with tuna with 3 shrimp on top. What's the upcharge for again?? Stuffing with gravy wasn't good but not horrible. The worst part was the lobster tail. I could only take one bite due to how SUPER SALTY It was. Wife got seafood combo with Salmon as the fish type. Received whiting instead which she doesn't even eat. Not to mention 8% sales tax??? Is that right for NJ??? Total came to 71.28 Before they told me about the upcharge of $6 for the two seafood salad sides. So $77.28 for a trash meal. Will never return to this place.

Honestly one of the best experiences with trying a new food place out that I’ve had in very long time. My intuition from the moment I passed the store told me I would not be making a mistake going in here. It was my very first time seeing or trying this place and every single thing about it is bringing me back. From the service as soon as I came in it was bright and warming energy from the lovely women behind the counter. They let me take my time. Gave suggestions. I got to try their WONDERFUL STICKY CORNBREAD PLEASE GET THAT EVERYTHING YOU ORDER!! And everything was just so inviting. Also knowing these women are blessing this food as well making every item Halal is absolutely amazing. I would continue to go on but please just stop in there yourself. Feel the love. Eat the amazing food. And spread the word about this lovely black owned restaurant. I love it here. Thank you Shel

This place is unmatched. The service was fast. The food was delicious and most importantly it is the cleanest and I mean the cleanest restaurant on Haddon Avenue in Camden. I pray they are here forever and a day the owner Shelly brings flavor to Parkside🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
